The magician removes what looks like a small, old, leather-bound book from its slip case. The book is opened, and the magician explains that this is a magic book that tells fairy tales by magic. As the pages are turned, pictures are seen on the pages, but the words on all the pages are the same. That's because you don't have to read the words, as the tales tell themselves by magic. In fact, the pages come out of the book, because even if the pages are all mixed up, the magic will still work and the tales will be told. Within the pages, stories such as "The Three Bears" are discovered. As the stories are told, the characters appear and disappear, bowls of porridge are eaten and chairs are broken at just the right moments in the story. EFFECT: You have a black, waiter style tip tray, which has three different brightly colored glasses resting on it. There is a 9 inch white silk with a knot tied in its middle which may be placed into any one of the glasses. But, the Naughty Silk never stays put! At any moment, under your complete control, the silk magically jumps from one glass to another right before their eyes!
This effect uses all the old bits, like having the silk jump from one side to the other just by turning the tray 180 degress. The beauty of this trick is that it packs small, plays big and really is a fun routine, with lots of audience involvement! Complete and ready to work.

Now he takes a fan and starts to fan the rose head that is in his hand as it turns into thousands of tiny white snowflakes floating up into the air. The magician takes a glass and pours wine into the glass. He takes the broken rose stem and dips it down into the glass and swirls it around. He removes the rose stem only to reveal a brilliant red rose has appeared on the end of the stem.

This ingenuous gimmicked glass design comes from one of David Evangelista's own special routines using roses and wine. The effect described is from David's own routine and is being shared with you to inspire you to create different ways of using this special glass.
Effect
The magician is seen holding a white rose. He then takes and breaks the head of the rose off and turns it into a white silk streamer. Later in the routine, the magician takes and pours out a glass of wine from a wine bottle. He then takes the broken rose stem, and dips it into the glass of wine. Upon removing the stem from the glass of wine, the stem emerges with a beautiful red rose on the end.

Here are some other great ideas for use of the Ulti-Dry Glass:
Pulling dry silks from the inside of a glass of liquid.

Effect
The Magician removes a beautiful long-stem red rose from a vase of assorted flowers and shows the rose to the audience. He then pulls an elegant long silk from his jacket pocket and shows the audience that he has only the silk and the rose in his two hands. He puts both hands out in front of him and stretches the silk across his hands, allowing the rose to rest on top of the silk.
All of a sudden, the rose begins to move around, floating up and down, from left to right, and even appearing in front of the silk! With both hands clearly visible and a good distance from the rose, the audience will be amazed at this seemingly impossible sight!
Eventually, the rose returns to its original position, resting atop the silk. The Magician picks up the rose, shows it to the audience, and then places it back into the vase from which it originally came.
This trick is completely self-contained. It doesn't use thread! It doesn't use strings! No external suspension is needed to perform this truly amazing trick!

Supplied with a stainless steel cup 4" x 3-3/16" in diameter, a giant size half dollar coin 3" in diameter and a normal half dollar incorporated into a special gimmick. The illustrated instruction sheet explains the routine and walks the performer through the two 'moves' involved in working the effect.
Performer is seen holding a stainless steel cup in one hand. Performer reaches in the air, plucks out a half dollar which is heard when thrown into the cup. This is repeated 6 or 7 times.
