As u guys may or may not know , i 'm in perth at the moment working and along one night i'm performing magic at a pub and i'm approached by a magician called christopher bisset, he's into mentalism and stuff
anyway he invited me to the WASM ( western australia society of magicians ) meeting and i got to meet lotsa awesome magicians like James Sleight and Kim Blitz ( van weert ) and Ray Haddad
They all speak very highly of singapore magicians like Jeremy Pei and Bob chua
and i got to learn some magic tricks from them like torn and restored card and coin vanishes
in all , a great experience and very humble people

Mini-lectures
Private/impromtu teachings
Any idea if singapore meetings are like this ?

^ how to join IBM and when are the meetings ??? i can't seem to find anything to go to on this board.

Well.. There are a few members 'hiding' in the forum. The meeting is once every month, every 15th of the month. To join IBM, you can look for someone from IBM and go one time as a guest to see how the meeting is carried out. You can get the form after that and see how it goes from there.. :)

I went to Perth for school camp this year. It was very fun and memorable. However, I never met any magcians... :( ... so sad.

i've spent my last 5 years in perth and only came back in july but i'm still here for work
so i dont know anything about the magic scene in singapore ;)
