Title: Bike Deck?

mindfreakdoughnut - November 20, 2006 12:01 PM (GMT)
i bought this bike deck from a typical magic shop some time ago. but recently found out that the border of the cards are uneven one side is thicker than the other?! it is suppose to be like that??

It is "supposedly" to be like that. Regular bikes you get have off-centered printing. Its normally unusual if you have a perfectly centered backing.

While other decks like Ghost Decks will or should have better centered printing.

My advise would be.."Live with it"

Not even the better decks have a constant centering

oh i see. didnt know that. i am sure that wont affect anything

And not only that. This also applies to your dollar bills. If you take out your bills, you compare them, they might not have the same alignment.

Because its due to the machines loh, mass printing will result in that. :)

It might be a fake bike, those China-made ones.

hey.

You. could compare the finish to a bike you are sure is an original one. If its the same then its likely an original coz the finish is patented implying it might me tough for a small time pirate to make of the same quality.

sometimes when it goes off centre and it is obvious to you. Use it to your advantage. Use it like a half way deck!

get mini bikes...very center, very nice, very small

But i think that poker size are easier to handle lol..i don't think the backs of the card won't affect your performance. Many people also use bicycles all over the world so you are defintely not the only person with uneven backs. There will always be some thats a little off center.

Think of it this way. If the printing is like that, you got yourself your own modified stipper deck.

I believe you meant one-way back deck. Not a very great consolation though, but it might have subtle, ingenious uses.

Ya, but its going to be difficult to notice the slight difference.
Since you can just force a card, why go through so much trouble. =X
