Hi guys i am very much into using and learning ITR stuff at moment so i would love to seek your recommendations for a good ITR product .
so far i have the spider pen and it's fairly easy to use but the tension is a bit too soft , and the battery life dies really quickly and causes the thread to be wound up badly so i'm looking for another ITR to practise on plus as a backup for my spider pen
what would u guys recommend ? i've heard stuff about the power reel /mini-boss model and stuff but not more more.
and also what books/DVD on ITR would u recommend ?
Regards
Roland

Ammar has the IT dvd and in one of the volumes, there is a section on the ITR. Besides ITR, there is a very good book/ dvd by Jon Leclair on the IT.

I personally use the Boss ITR, and it works great for me. The only downside is that sometimes, I would prefer the pin (not attached) to the clip.
I know many people think otherwise, but I'm not very comfortable with the idea of the spider pen. Maybe I'm just being too uptight about it.
Anyway, IT effects aren't for everyone (I decided they don't really suit me). But you may want to check out loops (I know this is not strictly ITR, but I thought you may be interested). Loops can do really cool effects (it may be the only IT effect I'm comfortable with doing up-close).

Yup , i've been using loops for quite a while now , have about 4 -5 routines for it like bill float and haunted pack and moving sunglasses
wouldn't mind expanding my loops routine though if u can recommend any resources that would be appreciated
Magicdow thanks for the suggestions !

Yigal Messika has a book on loops.
