Title: Copper Sliver Transpo
trickster - December 7, 2006 03:09 PM (GMT)
Alright.. I've been practising a copper and a sliver coin transpo.
Effect:
1) The spectator has got a copper and a sliver coin clenched in their fist.
2) He/She takes either one of them and place it on top of their hand.
3) The magician then makes both coin switch places.
Well, the problem is that our local coins here are kinda of different sizes (If you know what I'm trying to hint).. Anyone who does this transpo please do give yr opinions/comments. Thanks..

Use foreign coins then, or use casino chips.

Poker chips, can't get them.. Underaged lol.. Foreign coins people will get suspicious..
I tested using 1dollar and 20cent, not good beacause they can be felt. I think I'll try a 5cent and a 10cent coin. Hmm.. Maybe those old singapore coins might do the trick..

Is it the "Questionable Trick" by Greg Wilson?
Ha, I had the problem with that too. Well, one way (if you die die want to use locals) is to use 5ct and 1 ct coins. So far, this has worked best for me.

The thing is, if you use poker chips or even 5cents and 1cent coins, you might as well use foreign coins, especially since no gimmicks are required, if people are suspicious, why, allow them to examine the coins.
I think we have to get over the self-inhibition of the fear of using foreign coins. Once we can allow ourselves to use these coins, I think it offers us more possibilities in our magic.
