What videos' are good for a flourish noob (aka me). Anyone can help me with this?
Noob..??
I think you're asking this question for the real noobs arent ya? :P
It really depends on what kinda flourishing really attracts you..
If you like cuts, then Tudors stuff would be good for you. Gen X is tough to learn from if you're new though  If you like huge displays.. you can give capcuts a try.. either that or ask kevin for some if hes in a good mood ;)
WARNING: DO NOT get the system if you're new. Its not easy to learn from!
If you're into anything other than cuts then you can try Devos Cradle to grave and Cobra Collection. But I strongly recommend Jerrys Encyclopedia. it has a whole range of flourishes from beginner to advanced and will occupy you for 3 lifetimes!
Thats all i can think of now. There isnt a truckload of flourish material out there to begin with
Anyone who has tried anything other than the ones mentioned can do their review here B)
Justin, justin. You coulda have (coulda have??? ) asked me on MSN. But anyways, since you asked here, the best thing I've found for a beginning flourisher ain't a video, it's a book, and it's Jerry's Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes. Covers everything from basic to advanced stuff. There are 1 handed cuts, multiple cuts, displays, juggling, armspreads, fanning, aerials, the whole lot of 'em, but I guess you already knew that. ;) You can borrow a copy from Bone or something, or just buy the damn book. ;)
Anyways, after that, McBride's videos (Art of Card Manipulation) do teach a bit of basic flourishing but it's mostly manipulation (card productions, vanishes etc), but if you're still interested in it you can check that out.
After the EoPCF course, you'd basically have already laid down a flourishing foundation, so there's stuff like Brian Tudor's Showoff 2, which ya can borrow from me if you want to. ;) But I think you already know most of the stuff inside. Knowing Tudor's material helps a darn lot when you want to come up with your own crazy flourishes, or if you want to learn stuff like the Bucks' material, etc. Penguin is producing his new DVD Generation-Xtreme but then again, for flourishing the material in Showoff 2 should suffice. I think.
If you're more interested in the sybil-ing part of flourishing (which does get a bit boring after a while though) there's Cap's dvd C4 Capcuts, which is a lot of the same stuff, (the Line Cut Deluxe is a horizontal Capcut etc) but still worth a look.
Then, there's always the Bucks' System which you have to get as well. ;) (or steal from me/Kevin/Huron...but...yeah, anyway... ;) ) There's Pasteboard Animations as well, which is included in the System...so, actually, I shouldn't have mentioned it anyway.
If you're more into the XCM side, (non-flashy cuts and ace productions), De'vo's Cradle to the Grave is awesome, plus, it teaches in such a way that even a layman could learn from it. Not to mention some of the free bonuses in the private forums...kickass. ;) There's his new cobra dvd as well, with all 999999 variations of the Cobra... or actually, 6 or 7. That is, if you're interested in learning the Cobra at first.
There are other small (but still worth mentioning) things like the Bucks' ITH (which you can borrow from me ;)), their Nursery Rhymes set and Five. Or Keone's Xtreme Kuts. But that's not worth mentioning. But I mentioned it anyway.
Oh, and if you joined up CC, there would be some cool tutorials popping up all over the place soon. Like now, Bone's basic charlier routine tut and Harwin's California Cut are up, etc. Just don't lurk around the place leeching off the videos and doing nothing for the site...the staff may SEND you ;) :D

New to flourishes?
Every Saturday, Bone, Cai, Sylvester, and maybe even Daryl or me head down to East Coast park to skate. Come along, and you can learn from the pros... and the semi-pros. Hehe :D

Nah la. Saturdays are family days. And they suck. A lot.
I disagree with the 'Dont get DnD's The System if your new to flourishing'. in November I was the most un-knowledgable person in the world when it came to ANY kind of sybil, madonna's etc......... now I have done every flourish on the system (extremely slow and sloppy) but I have at least did each of the sleights on the Dvd........It is extremely hard, but with day in day out dedication you with be proud when you have done the Madonna III in about 888 seconds hehehe
