Kyle Ravin was the champion for the Junior catagory for Magic Unlimited 2006. His mask act was fantastic. According to a friend of mine, he would have gotten first if he was in the Open catagory as well. (comparing the scores)
He is a very very good stage magician.. When I saw his performance at MU last year, I already like threw in the towel and concede defeat to him liao. Haha. :D

Greetings ,
Yes you guys are right. His master is from India.
As according to Legends , it was proven that the famous magicians existed in India but these guys didnt know what is marketing themselves out of the region?
Kyle master is from India and his master has stepped out of the comfort zone and is teaching Kyle to perform magic shows. His master is a close friend of the Kollywood actor, Vikram.
All the best for Kyle to progress up in his magic career.Hope I had a Guru too. :P
Best Regards
Dr.Chandran :wub

Hiya, I'm here to set some things straight.
Most importantly, Kyle is not from India and does not learn his magic from some Indian Guru.
He's a very good magician who like most of us here, have honed his skills through books and videos. He had practically self taught himself the art. Thus, I'm quite surprised these 'Indian Guru master' story is related here.
I'm doing this as a friend to the magician. I hope you guys will give him your support as a fellow singaporean magician. Do catch him on Vasantham Central on Saturdays at 7pm.
P.S. Yea.. I'm glad he wasn't old enough to join the open category and take the crown from me! haha...

After watching two episodes, I find that his shows are mostly mediocre. No offense, it's just my personal feeling to his approach to TV magic. Also, I find the exposure of the rising magic wand in bad taste.

ya not too bad, but he sure did a great job by trying out the trick thread, as it s one of those tricks that cause real pain

Its not surprising. Haha. Anyway, Maya ended. Last few episodes are better, except for the last one, in my personal opinion.

Kyle Act is definetely something new to our local scene. SAM will be getting him for a performance act at our annual Theatre Show in July having won the stage competition. So look out for my broadcast on it. :P
