There was this sleight "jerk" while doing that move, but other than that its perfect..

In my opinion, that "jerk" in the video will cause those youtube asshole magic hecklers to think that you cut the video or sth liddat. Hahaha. So.. heck care them! :P

Nice to see your face also.. :D

I feel something weird when i saw this video. Maybe its just me.

But It lack something that is casual. Its stiff and hard in it, the handling is great, but the controlled way of the handling makes everything look so hard and pressuring.

Maybe its really just me.

Hey, if you hadnt said that, I wouldnt have feel it too, but since now you said it, yes, I agree.. Haha.

Thomas, I find that all your videos are great, but thinking back now, it lacks the fluent-ness. Is it very pressuring for you when you're doing the coin tricks in the videos? Relax! And make sure your moves flow like water.. :P

But nonetheless, you're getting better and better! ;)

Thanks.... I also find myself looks damn stress and fierce :) Maybe scare of my colleagues walking pass my room and saw me videoing myself. They will make fun of me if they really saw that..... :D

Yes, I find my moves not smooth too..... I am still learning and need more advise from you all... Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

PS: I am actually very upset that I look so ugly in the video.... knowing that I am actually so h....... vomit!!! :D

Wah, Thomas, I didn't know you are quite a good
coin worker. Good routine. A little stiff though, relax
leh...don't worry about the critique, that's how we
all improve. Must be again one of your own creations.

Sorry, I can't help but was thinking... you shot this clip while your friends were eating and talking. Won't they find it a bit wierd?

I remember I had this habit of doing "imaginary" flourishes in the air or muscle-passing the coin while sitting on my desk. All my colleagues were like "Eh... WTF?"

Until I have done enough tricks for them and they realized it's a magicians' syndrome. :P

Ok, sorry :off:

ThomasLim - February 1, 2007 01:49 AM (GMT)
Yes, they are eating and talking... but I thought I mentioned that they are in the meeting room ;)

Good coin worker??? No... I am not... This is just another method that I could think of for a similar effect. :g:

Cheers

Oh sorry, I thought you meant that you all are eating in the meeting room, that' why we can hear their voices.

It was quite well done. Some improvements to be made though. Facial expressions should be natural. You looked too stiff. You are putting to much stress upon doing the effect. Just practice more and you will be very good and natural at it. It will just be like holding a chopsticks. At first you will find it very difficult. But after some practice using it, you can even use a chopsticks to pick up a fishball isn't it? Practice makes perfect :g:

Actually, I liked your presentation of the effect. Whether by accident or by design, your facial expression was humorous and your vanish was great. I understand if others may have found your expression stiff, but to me it looked like you were parodying the serious magician types (David Blaine) and that in itself was entertaining.

Goob Job!

Thank you.... yes, practise makes perfect.... ever since I video this, I have not practised this for quite a while

Thanks for your reminder :P
