I offer my self as their advisor cause in malay community certain things use in magic are taboos such as gambling eqt, cards etc. I will recommend tricks which are not sensitive to older generation to avoid any controvesy. B) B)

Yes! Not only card even To say I do Magic also can be offended to some of the older generation, infact there are a few negative feedback from the show published in the Berita Harian Forum (4/8/07).
I cannot blame them because some of older generation are not exposed to magic. Again, the show also show some of things that look supernatural that might do harm rather than entertaining such as showing that the magician can catch the deadly dart from the "dayak" blow pipe or the magician can lay on broken glasess withou harm. I am afraid that because of lack of knowledge, the history will repeat again such as Houdini accident or Choo ling Soon accident. For malay viewers the show should be less dramatic but entertaining such as what the Vasantham Central do or even Channel 8 the Chinese magician do! Anyway I would not expect that the show par with Criss or Blaine do you?  my 2 cents

Why bother trying to be CA or Blaine? Perform to suit yourself and the audience you are aiming for. Different people may prefer different things. The older generation may prefer something more stage magic style while the younger generation might prefer more street magic style.
It also depends on the community, as has been shown.

hey zinally.
I actually posed a question to imran on his thread but he hasnt resposnded. Perhaps you could help? Here's the thread.
http://forums.singaporemagiccircle.com/ind...?showtopic=6823Vincent: He's trying to say "on par with" meaning achieving that kind of prestige and popularity. I think many magicians have that kind of a goal, it perfectly fine.
