Labelled by Ben Williams

Labelled takes visual street magic to the next level!

Imagine being able to show an unopened and sealed soda bottle. You sign the label then visually, with an open hand, push it INSIDE the bottle!.
Sound good? How about if the bottle REALLY is unopened and can be left with the spectator as an impossible souvenir?
Ben Williams has taken a stunning magic effect and turned it into a visual street magic masterpiece for the working magician.

Labelled does not have to stop at your signature. You can write whatever you like on the label, your contact details, website or even a prediction! It's limited only by your imagination!

Is labelled easy to do?
Yes! Performing Labelled is SUPER SIMPLE! If you can hold a bottle, you can do this effect!
Ben has slowly perfected the design of this effect through constant development and real world performance to strip out all the moves and sleights, allowing you to focus on your presentation and enjoy watching your audiences jaws hitting the floor!

Is this a special bottle that I would need to get back from the spectator after the effect?
NO! That's what makes Labelled so powerful! When you visually push the signed label through the soda bottle, right before the spectators eyes, it's a very strong piece of magic! The audience will REALLY want to examine the bottle and they CAN, In fact you can leave it with them as an amazing and impossible souvenir!

I'm a working magician, is this going to be practical in real world conditions?
YES! Once you learn the set up you can get this ready to perform in approx 15 minutes. The instructional video takes you through the whole process in detail in real time. This can be done pre-show, so when your out and about your ready to go! Alternatively you can reuse the bottle for an instant reset!

Visually stunning
Angle proof
Resets easily
Street magic at its best

Includes BONUS 'Junior Labelled' the super quick set up version!

Running Time Approximately 31 min

REVIEW BY NING of THE LITTLE MAGIC SHOP

Labelled by Ben Williams

The production values are pretty similar to the popular one-trick DVDs produced by ‘new’ magic creators such as Joe Russell and Kevin Parker. IMHO, this does not particularly distract from the learning of the effect but seeing the creator explain the effect in his bedroom or kitchen does not make it look like the stellar production it could have been.

Those small pet peeves aside, the effect is actually very visual and strong :) It is in line with the current style of direct ‘Street Magic’ effects. I can personally see Criss Angel or David Blaine performing this with great success. It's really great stuff for TV!

Labelled is a very strong effect and has had rave reviews internationally on other forums. It is quite practical but does require some preparation (hey no one ever said good stuff came easy!). The preparation will take time and a little effort but once you get the idea, a bottle should be prepared in under 10 minutes and IMHO, the preparation is well worth the effect!

This is a fun effect to perform and will have your audience’s stumped! Make your name through YouTube with this snazzy one!!!

Cheers,
Ning ^_^

This is one of my recent purchases along with Hatching.

I'll do a review here first on Labelled.

Basically this effect is a penetration type of magic but usually people will think more of coins for penetration and some other small objects. However, in this case, the entire seal is penetrated into the bottle and stuck inside.

Ben Williams goes through the process of making the gimmick pretty thoroughly with you, and all of the necessary equipment are definitely ready in your house. So I was pleasantly surprised when I watched the dvd since I could start preparing it right away without having to buy anything from anywhere.

The process of making the gimmick is not difficult as I thought it will be, just require some patience. The gimmick afterwards is very reliable, no chance of breaking, tearing, dropping or what ever mishaps that you can think of.

The handling is pretty straightforward, if you go and watch the demo video, the handling is extremely clean and nothing much to explain or hide.
So it should be fairly simple, especially compared to Sinful. Sinful owners should find this a breeze.

Personally Labelled is good:
- Visual penetration
- Able to be given away as souvenir ( thus enabling them to have a good look at the label).
- Not likely to be figured out, due to the different process in constructing the gimmick. People will usually not think till that far.

Labelled is bad:
- Preparation is a little time consuming, as compared to the impromptu nature of sinful.
- The effect ends pretty quickly as compared to sinful. Nothing much to build up on, whereas sinful you could have the sound of the coin in the can and so on. In this, its just "boom" its in and its over then let them inspect.

Overall, 8/10.

This effect will be one I will be doing in conjunction to Sinful and Prohibition for my penetration routines. Well worth it.

Thanks.
