You start with a 4-times-folded 24x36 inch (61cm x 91.5cm) poster that has 576 unique photographs of public celebrities - all printed in gorgeous color on a brilliant paper that is incredibly tear-resistant. You slowly and deliberately unfold and show every square inch of the printed surface to an audience participant, who verifies that all 576 shots are different.

Next, he randomly selects one of those icons as his 'secret star'. Only now do you unfold the full poster so the entire audience can see that the hundreds of photos are really tiles in a mosaic - becoming a work of art that depicts the participant's 'secret star'!

You can play it straight - as 'subconscious influence' - or as a gag, "Who wants to read his mind?"

Mentalism Unlimited has an uncanny ability to create full mentalism routines that are unique, practical and strong. All their routines also pack small and play big. You could literally create a full 30min show from routines marketed by Mentalism Unlimited.

Star Trick looks to be another winner especially if you are performing for a themed party or corporate social event :) This routine would fit perfectly with a Hollywood, Oscars, Awards Night, Movie, Night of Stars-type themed event.

You receive the main prop that is a 2’ x 3’ poster that is made from a heavy-duty no-tear material as well the other items needed to perform the routine.

The presentation is very straightforward and the method is devious and simple. Everything is self-contained and requires very little manipulation on the performer’s part. You will require minimal audience handling and simply the confidence to pull-off the psychology of the method. While the conceptual method is not new, the props utilized and handling is.

You could easily make up a set that features Asian or local celebrities but without the mosaic portrait revelation. You could simple have a giant photo as a prediction. If you are a corporate performer, you could use a poster that features photos of the company’s staff.
