Let’s Get Flurious by Gary Kurtz

Gary Kurtz created a stir when his book and videos first came out in the early 90s. Now, his videos have been released as DVDs, making it available to a whole new generation of magicians! :lol: 8 VERY SOLID routines are performed and explained in this DVD and Gary performs everything flawlessly. Some routines look like pure magic. Several of the routines require heavy sleight of hand but purists will relish the challenge. However, there are also some routines that are simple but very strong.

Some of the highlights of the DVD for me were:

Forced Thought – Gary shares his handling of the slip force that makes the force look natural and surround-proof without funny fast movements.

Trio in Three – This is a coin assembly routine using 3 different coins. Really amazing and will catch even magicians who are unfamiliar with the method/ gimmicks.

Sharing the Limelight – This is a sweet routine that makes a spectator the mind-reading star; hence the name. The spectator needs to be coached before hand but it is perfect when you want someone to look good. Great for birthday parties where the birthday boy or gal is the star.

Flurious- If you have ever seen Nique Tan perform the jumbo coin manipulation act that he does soooo wellll, this is the original source. This is an incredible (and very difficult) routine that is amazing. If you are looking for a stand-up jumbo coin routine and a big challenge, try it out!

In a nutshell... Highly recommended if you are looking for hardcore serious magic that will blow your audience away. Simply, a must have!!!
