As David states at the beginning of the DVD, this video is not meant to encourage the performance of gaff card effects in a whole performance set but a gaff card effect can be DEVASTATING within a set of sleight of hand card magic routines.

Some of the solid magic routines inside include:

Jackass is a very commercial transposition effect with a kicker ending that will catch the audience off guard.

Where’s My Card is a very strong effect where a riffle peeked card vanishes from the deck and reappears… anywhere you want. This is the same gaff that Shawn the Magic Dude used in his thought of card to clock routine that won him the IBM Parlour Competition in 2006!

Super Fly is a multi-effect routine with many climaxes. It has a cute presentation and really strong couple of kicker endings. It is fairly simple to perform and I see this being a popular effect for purchasers of this DVD.

Con-fused is honestly my favorite routine in the DVD! It is a variation of Doc Eason’s Anniversary Waltz but contains additional phases that feature the transposition of the two signed cards first. The phases are very convincing and well thought out of resulting in a killer climax of the two signed cards fusing back to back with each other.

Essentially, this DVD is good value for money as it also includes 20 free gaff cards, along with these killer routines. If you are exploring commercial magic with gaff cards, this is highly recommended!
