Title: Pre-purchase Review

silverdream - February 21, 2007 05:15 AM (GMT)
Hi guys,
I hope this is the correct forum for me to post these as I do not see any forum that relates to my queries (pre-purchase review). Maybe I am to used to Ellusionist forum :)
If anyone owns these, maybe you could let me know your reviews as well.

I am just wondering is there any shop in Singapore that I can purchase the following:
1. Electric Hot leads (new version of hot leads)
2. Elevator 2 (new version of the elevator)
3. Rainmaker
4. Entity
5. Time Machine
6. Real Time Rocket Bottle
7. Peter Loughran's Gravitate
8. Flying Fire
9. Inside
10. Iron Garrote

The above are my planned investments for the coming 1 to 2 years. It's an expensive investment and hence I need to make my choices wisely. I am not sure if any of you guys have come across these but if you do watched the preview demo it's simply amazing.
I know where I can purchase these items but as I do not want to incurr any overseas shipping cost, I need to know if these are available in Singapore.
If anyone of you do own these or has heard of some reviews, I appreciate your comments; please feel free to PM me or reply to this post.

One of our member is selling rainmaker, maybe you want to consider that. Its a setup tool, and require a jacket to work if I not wrong. :)

Time Machine is a good effect, the rest of those, I never see before.. Good luck.

For any purchase, you can do it with our local dealer, Miss Ning, the owner of thelittlemagicshop. Visit her website at www.thelittlemagicshop.com and you see tons of items there. :)

I will suggest you look out for reviews, before purchase anything. Not all expensive things are good.. :)

Thanks Larry,
That is what I am doing now.... finding out any reviews and comments. I have looked at your suggested website before but there was none; and that is why I did this post as well.
Since you have the time machine, could you elaborate more on it and not just comment that it is a good effect. Maybe you can tell me about where I can or you have purchase it (in Singapore), any DVDs or instructions that comes with it, your rating and comments on (i) effect (ii) method (iii) DVD or instructional teaching (iv) overall.
I know that it is a setup tool but does it really require a jacket as the preview demo shows the presenter without a jacket (even with short sleves). Do you know which member is selling that?

There are people selling used Time Machine from time to time at the magic cafe. Or you can check out Ebay too.

Time machine is not a bad effect. It actually depends on ones character to present it well. If you are a person who can talk a lot, this will be good for you. Owners will understand what I mean.

Ther are 2 versions, Classic and Master. They are made by Magic Makers. Vikings have a version with a different working.

As for Electric Hot leads, you have to use flash paper which will be costly in the long run.

Thanks magicdow,
I have seen all the demo reviews and understand how these works. I am actually looking for a genuine review by those who own one and not comment on "the effect is good" as this does not mean anything.

Maybe you can tell me about more on your rating and comments on (i) effect (ii) method/setup (iii) DVD/instruction/teaching (iv) overall (v) any negative comments. This would bring some lights to me.

As for the electric hot leads, I know that it uses flash papers and will be expensive in long run (depends how often you used it as well). Like I said, I am looking for a review of people who have used it.

I appreciate your comments. I have actually got some pretty good comments from other forums and I think I will go ahead and purchase the Time Machine.

I wonder anyone knows anything about the other products :(

What's the difference between elevator 1 and 2?

I have the time machine. In my opinion, instead of getting the watch, which caused a bomb, I find that I get better reactions stopping a borrowed watch using M5 compared to the time machine. And let's not forget it is cheaper.

I use to have 2 time machines and have sold it. I've sold the Electronic Hot leads before too. Do I qualify to write the review?

Joel,
Elevator (self levitation effect) is performed by Peter Loughran. Being version 2, there are many practical and cool new features that the first one did not offer, including new compatibility, and better angles (so it mentioned).
I do have the M5 but I don't quite like it and if possible, I am hoping to disposed of it. I have performed with the M5 twice and I agree that the effect is fantastic and the reaction is simply amazing but since you own one, you will understand how cumbersome it is to carry it around. There are not many places you can carried it with you without anyone noticing it (maybe I am a bit paranoid when I carry it with me).
Well, you are right that the M5 is cheaper than the Time Machine, I got it together with the raven (which again I do not find it attractive to use); however, I do not mind paying it more since it can be use as a normal watch. I am such a watch would have cost as much :)

Yes of course! Since you owned both and have used them before, could you give some review on the:
(i) Effect
(ii) Method/setup
(iii) DVD/instruction/teaching
(iv) Overall
(v) Any negative comments

Why did you sell it away. It's a cool item to have right?
