This DVD has so many gems!!! :lol: There are great complete routines suitable for both close-up and parlour in Taped!. Very groovy highlights include:

At a Loose End – A rope routine that is very smart in construction and really entertaining B) There are 3 main effects in the routine and any one of the phases can be incorporated into a standard George Sands-type routine.

Parked Card – This one fooled me so bad over and over again. I won’t spoil it for you so I wont go into the details of the routine but it is one that you would love to perform just to get away with it. A definite MUST to check out!!

Cloudburst Catch is a fantastic visual routine. It is a card sword stab without a card sword or card fountain. Sounds interesting? Yes it is! I honestly think that it creates a visual spectacle and is a great finale routine for a close-up or parlour act.

Steve also offers two card techniques; one of which is a combination of a Mercury Fold with a Convincing Control. It is two techniques in one that allows you to control and fold a card into quarters at the same time. This is the perfect technique to use in conjunction with a card in box routine like Paul Gertner’s Card in Box and John Kennedy’s Mystery Box. Serious cardicians should really check this out!

The bonus bit of this DVD is the performance (no explanation) of Steve’s award-winning Wakman Act. It is old (it features cassette tapes... ok, maybe younger folks might not know what the heck these things are... LOL) but it is very good and entertaining. It is SO highly original and is a good case study for anyone wanting to join an international close-up magic competition.

In a nutshell... Highest recommendation for anyone looking for powerful close-up and parlour presentation pieces! A GREAT investment!
