Linking Laces (With DVD) by Harris, Jockisch, and GoodwinPERMANENTLY LINK ANYONE’S LACES! NO GIMMICKS! NO PREPARATION!
Effect
She rests her shoe-covered foot on your lap. You rub her tied laces to soften them up ...and her two loops suddenly link! You have to untie her laces to unlink them.
You gallantly re-tie her laces to make two more unlinked bunny ears. This time she pinches the two separate loops between her own fingers ...and again the two loops link! And they stay linked!
At your insistence she reluctantly takes her foot off your lap ...and wanders away with her impossibly linked laces. She can keep her laces linked forever ...or she can eventually untie them in a futile attempt to unravel the mystery.
* No gimmicks – works with most types of laces
* The loops are genuinely linked
* The linked loops can be examined
* Completely impromptu
Can be performed with or without a lap!
Plus a powerful bonus effect:
The no-gimmick self-tying shoelace
Comes complete with 28 page, photo-illustrated instruction book and DVD.

REVIEW BY NING of THE LITTLE MAGIC SHOPLinking Laces (With DVD) by Harris, Jockisch, and GoodwinIf you didn't already know, Paul Harris is the type of magic who is always looking for that moment of astonishment or ‘strange’ as he calls it by doing magic with ordinary objects. In his book set, Art of Astonishment, he creates many of these ‘strange’ moments with aluminum foil, soda cans, leafs, kitchen drawers, etc… just to name a few :lol:
Linking Laces is one of his latest offerings and it is a clean 2-phase impromptu linking lace effect. It comes with a very detailed booklet and DVD, so learning is a breeze. It is fairly simple although the second link will take some time to understand and learn.
You need to ensure you have the right length and type of laces. This is easy enough and I can see it playing great in any environment where people are wearing track shoes, for instance, for students, kids, sporting events and any casual outings. This will likely not find a place in a formal performance show but it is a great thing to learn when you need to perform an impromptu moment of astonishment B)
In a nutshell... this comes recommended if you are a fan of Paul Harris and enjoy unique impromptu magic without special props or preparation. As a bonus, Paul also describes his no-gimmick version of Jay Noblezada’s Self Tying Shoelace.
CHEERS!
