Abracapocus Issue 1Presenting Abracapocus: the magic magazine on a DVD, don't just read about it, watch it!
Magic is a visual artform, and what better way to present a magic magazine than on a visual media. See reviews, demonstrations and more come to life like they never could on the pages of a standard magazine.
In the first issue, we deal with talking points such as Magic vs the Internet and get our teeth into reviews including The Sleightclub Podcast and Michael Paul's Show no Mercy PDF.
Every issue we'll be cramming our DVDs with more of what YOU want to see, so be sure to send in your ideas as to what we can add to our magazine.
Our mission is to bring the world magic scene closer together using a media which lends itself naturally to magic.
What's in the current issue?

REVIEW BY NING of THE LITTLE MAGIC SHOPAbracapocus Issue 1This is a unique magic magazine concept with some useful tips and interesting features, consisting of informative segments, reviews, events, highlights from live events and also informal short interviews – just like a real magazine! ^_^
This first issue is a 40-minute informally presented produced magazine-style program with modest production values. This disc includes a discussion on how to Run an MP3 Player through a PA System, the impact of Internet on Magic – opinions from magic personalities, reviews and highlights from the Magic Collectors Association meeting.
Personally, I think Abracapocus would work better as a video download but being the inaugural issue of the DVD magazine, it shows lots of promise. One reason is probably because the authors did not take full use of the DVD format to make this a multi-feature magazine format DVD. However, it was a good first attempt and the material was useful and interesting.
Salute to original innovation... worth a check out!
CHEERS!
