Most know Kenton for his work on mentalism such as Wonder Words or the famous Kollosal Killer effect. This DVD is a collection of his close-up material . The production quality is honestly not very good, but I guess it's probably because it is from a VHS video tape transfer. Here are a couple of goodies from his DVD:

Two T & R cards that require only a single card (apparently). One is an impromptu version that is A Torn & Restored Card routine, very similar to Ben Harris’ Hoodwinked. The other one requires preparation but is also very strong if performed well. The card can be casually examined after the effect and it will FOOL MAGICIANS ;) His signed coin to balloon is surprisingly VERY visual and amazing. It is also remarkably clean so this is especially fitting for magicians who also do balloon work! Kenton's approach to sponge balls is unique and he has many cool and unique moves that I’ve never seen before.

IMHO, this DVD comes HIGHLY recommended. Klose-up and Unpublished contains some very strong magic material that is within the reach of most magicians. NICE!

Ning, how tedious is the set up? less then 5 mins? How is his teaching? Is it detailed?

I always believe Kenton gives good material in his teachings. I will be looking forward for more reviews about this one. Maybe when the next payroll came in, I will get this and see also.

Anyway, hope that the highly addicted sponge ball Aloy will get this dvd to see the unqiue sponge ball routine by Kenton.

LOL. Yea. Aloy's 3D rabbit effect was funny. Especially the part on how the rabbit came to have brown ears. :D
