Title: Some Information Wanted About It.

Icy - March 7, 2007 11:56 AM (GMT)
Hi.

I was trying to look for IT. However, I am not very familiar with the types and varieties. So could someone give me a brief overview, without exposing too much (just in case)?
Anyway, I am looking for non elastic ones, and would not show against skin color. I am not looking for the type used in Hummer Card, which is really micro-fiber and they kinda "curl". I am looking for something that is more like thread, only much thinner. Is there such type of IT? or may be some tailor shop have some very thin thread or sth that can be used as an alternative?

Any info greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Icy

Try using a fishing line. If you can find 1 lb, it'll be strong and quite "I". But it is very difficult to find such line. The best I found was 2.5 lb (I think). If you manage to find such lines, let me know too.

An Alternative to normal IT would be to use Nylon thread. Strong and transparent so they are not too visible. Still prefer Normal IT. If you use Nylon, be careful that it does not reflect light.

Ah, Magicdow, the best I got before is 1.8 lb. I got it at beach road there. But they came in large pack. Still wont work for me, and so the fishing line is left at home to rot.

Why? Is it too visible?

Partly because the construction is long and hassle, and hmm, I don't need that much also ma. :)

I have the classic stripped IT I shipped from Ellusionist. Its slightly elastic so I guess its Nylon.

I heard of videos where they teach you how to strip your own IT from a whole bunch of ITs. Bad explaination but if I explained too well would be exposure I think.
Do a search, you'll probably find more about it. And traditional IT is thin Black, not transparent. Just a fact. So i'm not sure if thin fishing line counts

BTW... What can 1.8 pounds hold? Ikan Bilis?

For your info, 1.8 pounds would be sufficient to hold ~800 g of Ikan Bilis. Which is quite a lot i guess. <_<
