Theater Close Up #2 by Greg Gleason - DVD $30

The signed card to sealed deck routine in this DVD is best piece of card magic that i have learnt. The effect is just impossible to top.

HOT SHOT OPENER - The wrong card jumps out of the deck and magically changes into the selected card. Even if you can't do Daryl's Hot Shot Cut, you will be able to do this.

MATRIX EXPLOSION - A matrix routine where four fifty-cent pieces magically appear, assemble under one card, and then multiply until twelve coins magically appear and cover the mat. This routine uses no gimmicked coins, gimmicked cards, or gimmicked mat or any other gimmicks!

OSC - The overhand shuffle shift control. Greg's multiple Shift technique allowing you to control four cards from four different parts of the deck with the overhand shuffle.

BANNED FROM VEGAS - A fantastic routine where four aces are lost in the deck with several shuffles including one with half the cards face up and half face down. When the cards are spread every card is face down except the four aces in the center of the spread.

OSC FULL DECK CONTROL - With this control you can retain an entire deck stack while apparently losing the four aces into different parts of the deck with an overhand shuffle and riffle shuffle.

INVISIBLE CARD - The invisible deck routine with a straight deck. Spectator shuffles the deck, thinks of a card, the deck is spread, one card is reversed. It is the spectator's card. Unbelievable! You will always use this.

THE LOCK UP - A selected card visually appears under a combination dial that was placed on top of the face-up deck. The dial is then turned locking the cards into a solid block.

SIGNED CARD TO SEALED DECK - A card is selected and signed by several people from a blue backed deck and lost in the deck. The deck is spread revealing the selected card face up, however, there are no signatures. The card is turned over to reveal it has a red back. The magician immediately removes a sealed red deck, shows ALL sides, removes the cellophane, breaks the seal, and removes the deck. The signed blue card is found to have replaced the red mate in its exact position!!! This routine is worth the price of both DVDs!

Impossible Card Magic Kosby- #2, DVD $30

Yes, this is the DVD that teaches one of the hardest and most visual sleight of hand - raise rise.

Smudge: The card case is used as a vacuum cleaner to visually erase the center pip of a three. The three is now a two and an ace is found inside the card case.

Recased: The cards are removed from a card case and the case is put away. In an instant the case is back in your hand with the cards back inside.

Pac Jacks: A sandwich routine where fifty-one cards visually appear sandwiched between two jacks while the selection remains in the hand where the deck was a moment ago.

Deep Thought: A spectator thinks of a card seen in the deck. The deck is shuffled and fanned. A single card is pulled out of the fan so it sticks out of the deck. The spectator names her card as the deck is turned over to show the card sticking out of it is the thought-of selection.

Raise Rise: One of the routines Ray is best known for is this visual ambitious card sequence where a signed selection is placed near the bottom of the deck so it sticks out half its length. All of a sudden it visually jumps to the middle, near the top, it becomes the top card and finally ends up on the bottom of the deck -- you will not believe your eyes.

Venus Fly Trap: Two queens are placed together face up in the deck so they are sticking out for half their length. A card is selected and placed face down protruding from the deck. In an instant the two queens seem to jump through the deck and encircle the selection.

Half Right: A quick and visual torn-and-restored card routine where a card is torn in half and then restored as the spectator pulls it out of the deck.

Freedom Of Choice: A spectator freely touches the backs of four cards as the deck is being spread between your hands. The touched cards are pushed forward. When the spread is turned up the four cards are shockingly seen to be the four aces.

Oil And Water: A devious three phase oil and water routine like no other. It is quick, visual and easy to follow as four red cards and four black cards magically separate and remix.

The Other Cheek: Three selected cards are held face down in your hand. A quick shake causes them to visually turn face up one at a time. The effect and method are unbelievable.

Jack In Box: A jack is placed on top of a card case and in an instant it vanishes to reappear inside the case.

Out Of Space: An impossible looking routine which begins with four kings. As the kings are counted three aces appear between them. The aces are placed on the table as the four kings magically change into the fourth ace.

UnRipped Gared Crawford, DVD $25

This is one of the most visual torn and restoration effect i have ever seen. The fact that the card can be examined in the middle of the restoration is what makes this effect better than other torn and restore effect on the market.

Spectator selects and signs his name across the back of a card. The magician then proceeds to fold the card into quarters and tear it right down the middle with the signature in plain view; that's right, no switches or substitution of pieces! The halves are put together and torn once more. The magician plainly counts four separate pieces without fumbling to hide or mask those familiar, bulky, and suspicious looking edges. No funny looking fans and no false counts.
The first two pieces are held edge to edge and, with no cover, the magician simply blows on them and they become one. This portion of the card is now cleanly shown front and back and may even be examined by the spectator to confirm that the signature is intact. The next piece is held flush with the card and the seam is slowly massaged, joining it to the rest of the card. The fourth and final piece is shown and touched to the card whereupon it instantly links to the rest of the card. The magician then hands the card to the spectator stating that it is really only half way restored. The card is taken back and by simply rubbing, the creases are caused to vanish. As if that weren’t enough, the magician then peels the signature from the card, gives it (the signature) back to the spectator, and returns the card to the deck.

This is a piece by piece restoration All four pieces are fully restored one at a time.
There is no switch during the tearing procedure; the card is actually torn twice!
Four thin and separate pieces are shown.
Each piece is shown before each restoration, there are no "bluff" restorations.

Signed Coin To Signed Card by John-Webb Carter $15

This effect is VERY powerful for spectators to experience. It's THEIR borrowed and signed coin! It's THEIR selected and signed card! It happens RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR EYES!

Effect

On the table is a deck of cards, a coin, a pen and a knife. The magician asks one of his spectators to select one of the cards and to sign its face. The card is then replaced back into the deck which is then shuffled and put onto the table. Now the magician picks up the coin and allows the spectator to sign it, while he explains that he will not find the card but the coin will. He picks up the deck and taps the coin on top of the deck. It’s gone! The magician goes through the deck and finds the card, however there is no sign of the coin whatsoever. That is, until the magician picks up the knife and slices across the front of the card which reveals the coin in between the three layers of card and yes - it’s the signed coin! Finally the card is torn in half to prove that there are no extra coins.

Questions & Answers about C2C

Are duplicate cards or coins involved?
NO. You only use the card the spectator selects and signs. You can even borrow a coin from the spectator to do this effect!

Can the coin and card can be kept as a souvenir?
YES! We recommend it! When a spectator takes the card out of their wallet or purse and describes to their friends how the signed coin was actually buried INSIDE the signed card, it's a great advert for your services and magic!

Do I need to switch in gimmicked props?
NO! You really use the card and coin they signed!

Is the coin really inside the card or is it just an optical illusion?
It's really inside and is cut out with a pocket knife or the card ripped open to release it. They can feel the coin in the card before it is cut open!

Is C2C repeatable?
Yes! You destroy one playing card each time you perform this effect but that is the only additional expense to perform this killer effect. You can use any standard deck of playing cards for this effect, although we recommend Bicycle Playing Cards also sold here.

A few moments before, they were holding both items then WHAM! The coin is GONE and really does become impossibly buried INSIDE the spectators signed playing card!

Impossible? Not any more! John-Webb Carter teaches you his technique in detail. With photo illustrated instructions C2C is easy to perform and so strong for audiences that we are sure you will be using it as the closer in your close-up card or coin act!

Spirit Can by David Ethan $10

Spirit Can is an original technique for constructing a gimmicked can. The can looks regular, is under pressure, and makes characteristic noise when the magician or the spectator opens it... but it's a gimmicked can!!! It allows you to load anything inside, and the can looks like a brand new one.

In this trick booklet, you will find this technique and 3 tricks using it:

Spirit Can: A straw does not want to stay in the can, and so it jumps to the ceiling!!!

Half-Substitution: Sometimes magic doesn't work... you failed the can substitution but succeeded with the beverage substitution.

Can Revelation: It's crazy all the things you can find in a can...

Knowing this technique, you will use your imagination to find other tricks using it.
