I wanted to post on the market to sell some items but it require at least 80 post to be able to sell items. I just started this forum so i have only like 7 posts.. that is LIKE SEVENTY THREE more posts to go. Can the number be reduce for the convenience of those who have just started out? :wacko:

We have experimented with the numbers and find that 80 to be appropriate. There are many who registered to sell their stuff and then disappears forever.

The marketplace is a privilege for members who have contributed to the forum. To use it, you have to work for it. Thanks.

Cause we not just want people to join this forum, sell of his sh*ts, and then say bye bye to it. We wanted people to participate the various topics happening in the forum, learn something, more things and be a better person.

80 posts is really not that difficult if you sincerely have things to contribute.
But iIt would be really difficult if your motivation is solely on selling.

Actually, when i first joined the forum, i thought it would take me eons to reach that kind of post number simply because i was so new and it seemed that i had not much to contribute seeing as to my shallow amount of knowledge... (Plus the fact i was darn scared i would get warning for repeating what someone else had said. :P)

But i agree it is a reasonable requirement and one should contribute before one can achieve the privilege.Try and be more active, contribute, learn something in the meanwhile, and i'm sure the number of post you can contribute will outnumber the 80 benchmark in little time.

When i just started out i use to think this way, then i got my post reduce and stuff. I learn my lesson and started to really contributed to the forum i hope you do the same.

i 1 year in smc only about 30+ post.. i think you got 3 more year to go :)

Anyways, I feel another reason to set the post count high is so we know we can trust you. We don't want someone to sell things in the market then get money and run away, or sell fake/pirated/faulty stuff and disappear. At least with a decent amount of posts, we can sort of "know" you better and trust you more. (Actually that's just my own reasons, trust-able fact level of it - 1%. =P)
