FireBurns - March 29, 2007 11:45 AM (GMT)
Anyone has knows any sleights to look up?
I would like to know more "Add-on" moves to try and complete my routine.

Wa... very general leh... What routine you lokking at?

Try performing hovercard at the end of the routine. It will shock the hell out of your spectator . :P

If you want learn sleight to add on to your list. There are many sleight out there that are difficult to master because of the angle like classic pass. It will be a very useful sleight for most of the routines, mind u a good pass can have the audience staring at your hand and still can't be able to tell that you did something(I still can't do a good pass yet :o) . I think this will take u some time already.

Do "Torn" on your card then give away it
or you can do a simple card to mouth.
There are many sleigh to finish a rountin
this is jus what i prefer.

First of all hover card is not a sleight.
Are you looking for more advance sleights here or just basic sleights?
And what is your routine?

Haha I dont know about sleights but I'd just vanish the deck using the "deck-in-plastic-case" thing. I dont know whats it called. Haha just a suggestion. Don't flame me :P

Daryl's Encylopedia of Card Sleights 1- 8.
Richard Turner's The Cheat
Darwin Ortiz's Scams and Fantasies
Guy Hollingworth's Drawing Room Deception (if I remember correctly)
Martin Nash's Infinity and Beyond
Ernest Earick's By Forces Unseen
These videos/books should be enough to last you a lifetime learning them.

Think. Make your own sleight.
That is the best way to go about doing this.
We can recommend you many things, but it is still up to your performance character to find one that is natural to you.
Just put some thought into it and soon you'll come up with your own add-on.
You might just come up with something some famous magician came up with years ago.
- What circumstances am I in when I execute it?
- Can the move be open since the spectators might be directed somewhere else?
- How do want the add-on to end up? (i.e. Add to bottom of packet or top?)
Maybe these questions can get you thinking.
Enjoy making your own things. That is what magic is about...

I just wanted a "Add-on" sleight. A way to add a card to a small packet of cards.
Thanks for all the reply so far though

Oh so that is what add on means!
I thought you mean you want to add on something to your effect.
For me I'll use tenkai or lateral palm.
muscleaxl - April 2, 2007 08:51 AM (GMT)
Same here, I was wondering what does Add-on means?
There are really many ways... as Ace mentioned 2, you can also use Gambler's Cop, Classic P***, and if you know... a snap deal.

You could make ur cards seem a little sloppy and in a plam just dilever the card though.
if your looking for how to make it part of your routine.
hope it helps

Just change the whole deck..
