You call that guy a girl? haha. Was fun to watch. Cards handling was a little sloppy (or was that intentional)? Nice effect... and the audience definately sounded like they enjoyed themselves. :D

Not too bad a video just that he was a little nervous? I think i heard him said "dible" instead of "dribble" but other then that good job. And btw, did that guy in yellow tried to heckle the trick?

joeltay81 - April 12, 2007 03:11 PM (GMT)
I think that, that is one of the problems when performing with close friends. Like the heckler in this case, it is not because of poor audience management, but more because the spectator is so well acquinted and has such a friendly rapport with the magician that he does not feel "shy" or feel a need to be "well mannered".

Was this performed impromptu as a single effect on its own?

Shade - April 12, 2007 03:29 PM (GMT)
I would respond to all the queries, but I think it's only fitting that I allow the 'star' to respond himself - he did promise to make more posts. Haha.

We want Sufi! We want Sufi! Woot!!!!

SUFi - April 14, 2007 02:58 PM (GMT)
Wow! :o
Thanks for the comments.
I agree with LarryDK that there is a lack of flow. Hey! I am only a harmless 14 years old guy :D and i perform for a year 1 JC student. I was quite nervous at that time.
Yeah it was a single effect. That guy in yellow was fine and i do not think that he was trying heckle the trick.
:off: The girls there are so :!!:

Cheers

Wow, how come you end up performing in JC? Thats interesting.
Anyway, The reason why the spectator would do that is because he is not dumb! To a thinking person, its is logical that the card chosen must be somehow, "controlled". Thats why you should never draw attention to the control, and don't even give any hint of it, especially on your face. Of course sometimes you have a polite audience who is willing to cooperate with you, but sometimes you do have some that are more "investigative"...

Well, I suppose you can't expect too much from a 14 yrs old...

<Aaron> - April 14, 2007 03:21 PM (GMT)
YAY!! SJI ROCKS!!! :P Nice effect, but i kinda got lost halfway through. I only know it's an ACR? then i couldn't really follow until the last dribbling part? BUT i like it. ^_^

:off:

Thanks <Aaron>

Icy...Wait till I am in my 30's. Lol :P

timo - April 14, 2007 05:10 PM (GMT)
Sufi, i like the part where you said you like it when the girls go :!!: , no wonder you chose to perform at JJC

chanzian - April 14, 2007 05:20 PM (GMT)
but the question is, how did you end up in a JJC year 1 class room performing to J1 students.

SUFi - April 17, 2007 12:28 PM (GMT)
I was paid to do that. :P
Lol

Ace - April 17, 2007 01:00 PM (GMT)
Really? I don't mind performing in JCs if I was paid lol :P

Good Job!=) It is not easy for a 14 yr old to perform to JC students.

I remember when I was performing magic at the age of 11, those people who are older than me don't really seem to take me seriously lol.

chanzian - April 17, 2007 05:20 PM (GMT)
wah..if i could perform to a JC, you dont even have to pay me man..it's excellent exposure..hahaha but getting paid is definately a bonus..

how did you get such 'lobangs' man...

extremer - April 17, 2007 09:10 PM (GMT)
great job done for a young kid. Hope to see you grow to become a established magician. Plenty years more for you to do so as you still young. :P

SUFi - April 18, 2007 02:54 PM (GMT)
Haha.
Thanks guys for the support. :g:

timo - April 18, 2007 03:35 PM (GMT)
Yeah man , where do you get such lobangs?

muscleaxl - April 19, 2007 11:18 AM (GMT)
Please guys, please stop asking about the lobang... I asked for it and did not get. Somebody just don't want me to interact with the next generation of Singapore :P

Yeah, anyway age is never an issue. A famous line in football, "If you are good enough, you are old enough."
