Hello all.
Have been reading up on all the helpful posts in this forum for a bit but i guess i need to contribute something or at least, post an intro before my next birthday :P
Name: Sean
Age: 29
Occupation: Self-Employed
School (If you are a student): ACS (neither B or I)
Years of Experience: 5 months.
Started soooo late into this great art form. Had no interest whatsoever in the past (mainly because i do not know where to look for to learn, i am lazy like that hehe)but suddenly i found myself addicted to magic.
I stumbled upon a video showing Daryl explaining how to do a DL. Then i heard this thing called 'gaff'. I searched for it, i stumbled upon E. They said you need to know 'sleight-of-hand' to use it. I was pissed! I NEED to learn sleight-of-hand so...here i am. And realized that i am still miles away from picking up gaffs and using them the way they should be presented.
Magic Scope (E.g Cards/Coins/Ropes.. Etc..): Mainly cards. Want to do more impromptu stuff without cards (ie. coin, spoon, rings etc).
PS: oh and to Reuben Wong below me. You are the R (same font as the L from deathnote)guy on youtube right? You are really good! i feel noob. Got to practice more

Hey hope you dont understand this is a nonexposure forum
So if ya thinking we do teach and expose, we dont.
Anw you are always welcomed to join in th discussion topics over here to improve your tricks and magic stuff. So WELCOME to SMC
wow hey hey relax yah? No need to jump to conclusions :D Perhaps you misunderstood my point.
Anyway i think i shouldn't put 'i need to learn sleight of hand' cause ...i'm already learning it (aren't we all? ) :D
Thank for the warm welcome.
Hey Sean,
Welcome to SMC. Let me apologise for Sheeke - he's perhaps a little jumpy but he does mean well. :P Just to clear things up a little - non-exposure doesn't mean we don't share information with each other. It's usually during gatherings that we sit down and discuss about magic. Most members are very open and will share tips and ideas about presentation, handling and even sleights. We do not expose commercial items and we don't 'teach' magic. Instead, I like to think that we build upon whatever foundation you have and help one another to grow and mature as magicians. :D
