shoulD i get the bible by the flourishman? or the Lethal DvD that is going to be releaseD? haha i saw the bible on the web flourishman.com anD the book was like SOOO thick anD as for the DVD i Duno wat is teaches anD its so EXPENSIVE!....as for lethal... it teaches very few stuff .... :(

Well you have to ask yourself, are you ready to read it. Some people really hate reading, but it's a good book which will give you alot of moves and etc. Too bad it's a little expensive :)

200 spore bucks. more variety. fan,armspreads,cuts,table flourishes,card throwing and more stuff. theres also a companion dvd for it. performance only.

Lethal. Limited stuff i guess. But its good stuff here.

Up to u ..if u really are interested in the art, den u gotta read. not much pple likes to read. so yah.

and since u got the system, u could go try to complete the whole thing in there. and then jump to either one of these. System stuff are pretty difficult and yeah good luck. damn i dont even noe wad im typing these days.

here's some food for thought: considering that you've got the System, well, spend your time practicing the material in there. There's a ton of stuff in the dvd (18 cuts, the ace productions from Pasteboard Animations, and others in the system Vault). practice everything in there til the point that you can perform them well. really well. "Completing the dvd" doesn't say anything about your skill level. Spend your time working on the material in there instead of spending even more money on more stuff that you may/may not use...urgh

Completed the dan and dave system, my ass. The only people who can even do any of the stuff in there flawlessly are the twins themselves...

Don't mind me, but I'm VERY touchy on this kind of thing. The system isn't something easy, and if I ever catch you doing their stuff shittilly, you're going down faster then you can say "george"

As for the Bible, no problem if you don't like reading... it has too many pictures in there. I doesn't matter even if you have no hands... all you need are eyes, and you can see the moves, step by step. VERY comprehensive... some of the stuff is so hard even jerry himself doubts 100% success, and some of them are so easy "even a crude drawing of a hand could do it"

And once more, DO NOT MESS WITH THE DANANDDAVE SYSTEM, BECAUSE I WILL COME FOR YOU :angry:

I totally agree. No point rushing in to so many DVDs and books so quickly. There's no point in doing so.. Practice slowly. Even if you learn 600 more flourishes, your audience will be amazed with the similar 25 flourish another guy can do. I've seen Kev perform before..With what he knows? There's no point in him needing any other DVDs.. unless of course if he wants to pursue his Already good skills.

Learning 100 more and forgetting those that you used to know.. There is no eminent point in doing all this. If you wanna learn more.. do it slowly. People might appreciate your flourishes much more that way.

Why thank you, heartofclubs... but even I have stuff to learn. I mean, look at people like Dan and Dave Buck and Jerry Cestkowski... those are people whose skill levels I strive to achieve. Keyword? FOCUS.

The Sun shines all day, and we all get our share of it. But take a magnifying glass, hold it over an ant with the sun shining through, and it BURNS that damned thing to the 18th level of hell.

Likewise, if you just focus on one, specific area of your skillz, you'll advance in that area better than you would if you were practicing 932 things at once. Focus on getting as good as you can at one area first before progressing to the next, as I said before, don't mess with the system. Show some respect, and at least try and better yourself at some of the material first before commiting adultery with other products. BURR.

The EOPCF is what you should get next in my opinion. It will last you more than 2 lifetimes man. So many moves in there and all the details you need to learn those moves are in there. Only the Flourishman CAN!

Or you can go to Kevin's site and pick up a few free tuts there. Cool stuff by Kev the boi. Yes. And i still owe 3 ducks LUNCH. Argh!

The reason why the other purist "XCM"'ers hate sybils is because the move has been raped to death and back. SOOOOO many people do it badly, I'm glad we have at least two guys who've set the bar... and they live in Southern California.
