Description: Adrian's Breakthrough system

Hey guys,

We had a nice session last night. The best of which was Adrian's killer prediction effect. You must see it to believe it.

Shade

Prediction X performed by Adrian Lee

Cool, i did not really get the trick but the reaction was violent man.

Woah big.

chanzian - April 29, 2007 09:05 AM (GMT)
HAHAHAHAH what the hell just happened?? what was the prediction???

Red_Deck - April 29, 2007 09:14 AM (GMT)
Hahaha... Its a little unclear what the trick is about because we cannot hear them talking properly. The audio is rather fuzzy and soft. But i think he was predicting the date of his first date or something?

sheeke - April 29, 2007 09:18 AM (GMT)
I though the break through system was invented by richard?

AdrianLee - April 29, 2007 10:08 AM (GMT)
The audio is pretty bad because I didn't follow Shade's instructions to speak louder. :P

Just in case you were wondering, it was a prediction of his anniversary date with his significant other.

To clarify, the Breakthrough CARD System (BCS) was indeed invented by Richard Osterlind, and this had absolutely nothing to do with Osterlind's BCS.

There isn't a name for this effect so I guess Shade just named it Prediction X, Adrian's Breakthrough System in jest, and for lack of a better name.

We're planning to keep the idea of the effect secret for now... it's underground you know. ;P But the idea is simple - spec thinks of a date. Magician predicted it.

Shade
PS: Might be marketable as an Underground DVD. Who knows? :)

Zi An - you should've joined us for that session; you would've witnessed it first hand. LOL

Can someone typeout the conversation and what the trick was all about in more detail?

deadsouL - April 29, 2007 02:00 PM (GMT)
Hahahahaa!

This is a KILLER effect. I saw it performed live. It's mad. Gets you killed if you're not careful.

chanzian - April 29, 2007 02:52 PM (GMT)

LarryDK - April 30, 2007 09:14 AM (GMT)
LOL!!! The reaction is priceless.. LOL!! STOOGE!!!

Ace - April 30, 2007 10:02 AM (GMT)
O.o! stooge?! Hmm dun think so...

There are ways to predict a thought of date of a spec without them saying it or writing it down.

Nice reactions!!!

Ah ha! I knew this would come up sooner or later, being a skeptical Singaporean myself.

I wish it was that simple, but no stooges were employed in the filming of this video. What you are seeing is pure unadulterated natural reaction from the spectator. :ph43r:

Ace - April 30, 2007 10:15 AM (GMT)
Yeah! Thank god it's not a stooge effect!!

Can market this underground effect soon? lol

I used cards and predicted someones birthday once ... without them saying it or writing it down. The method is quite bold but when you manage to pull it off it's one hell of a killer effect.

LarryDK - April 30, 2007 11:55 AM (GMT)
Hey, no offence ya!! LOL!!
