Every magi has a different patter/ presentation style & image... who's YOUR favourite and WHY?

Is it... Michael Ammar? Jay Sankey? Max Maven? Guy Bavali? Dai Vernon? The Buck Twins? David Blaine? David Copperfield? Banachek?

The list goes on... ;-)

Here we go:
Tom Mullica for his all-around presentation.
Gregory Wilson for the dynamic and riveting energy that he puts out during his performances.
David Acer for his very... um, strange and abstract personality.
David Regal for his very engaging personality.
The Buck Twins, for inspiring me to combine flourishing with magic.
Gary Kurtz for his AWESOME coin magic.

I actually have a ton of magis that have inspired me tremendously but these are the ones that come to mind now. :D :lol:

Lance burton.

I watched Lance Burton in Las Vegas last year and he was incredible. I loved his show tremendously. :D Other great magic shows in Vegas were Mac King's absolutely downright hilarious show, and Penn and Teller's show as well. Unfortunately I couldn't go and see the Amazing Jonathan's show which I wanted to see... for some reason, it was only for people 18 or older. Bah. <_< :D

I like Jay Sankey... this guy's a wierd little creative genius *grin* his trailer are always so cool, nice angels, good direction, just awesome and his personality is just cute (check out his rev. coin magic DVD)...

David Blaine's probably everyone's fave street magician now, when you ask anybody on the street. Sure, some people think he's not that great a magi but he's a great actor! hahaha

He's done a lot to revive the passion and fun in magic for all again ;-) ...that you can't deny!

Man, the guy is god. He is a good magician, he is even better in applying necessary editing to his show. Great actors and actress (if you know what I mean) in his specials. Look at me.... Loook at me....... loook at me.......

I like JS too... he's so corny tt it makes u laugh... but not really at the jokes... and the bald head is a perfect fit with that image.

DB... what can i say... i like his spaced out look -- like he always smokes (his fave "herb" or wat) before a shoot... but i like his ex-gf (josie) much better!

have to say tho, i haven't watched many magi in action... and also frm what i've heard (ok, read) so far im sure huron & gang will be on my list soon too.

David copperfield was my fav when i was a kid.
Next is David Blaine.... he started up the craze!
THen.. Brad was inspiring
Then Oz Pearlman.. wow... this guy is good.
THen now.. man the buck twins!!! awesome flourishes... and great at magic too!
Dont really like Sankey even though he may be good. He is too much comedy until no more comedy.

She is so pretty and can do bery amazing thing. U all must see her, bery incredible her magic tricks. I think she is the best magician i have ever seen, but i never know a lot of magician lah.... :P
And she is very nice to me also....

Heh. Oz is...cheesy. His presentation needs a lot of work. Sure, his foundation in his sleight of hand is strong, but his showmanship is kinda weak. I wouldn't consider him exactly successful.

On topic, having seen some of Joshua Jay, Andrew Wimhurst, and Jason Latimer's work, I can add them to my list of favorite magis. ANdrew Wimhurst is so freaking creative, and guys like Jason Latimer are just so talented all-around... both his stage and close-up work is awesome.
