Hi
Was wondering if my metal card guard (the cheap silver $15 one) would be allowed onboard the plane.
If i leave it in my pocket, the detector would most likely sound.
If i leave it in my hand-carry luggage, they might notice upon scanning, that it looks kinda sharp...which security can deem as a dangerous weapon.
The last thing i want is to have them confiscate my card guard. :)
Does anyone have any thoughts/experiences to share?
Hmm, now that's a problem.
I dont think the detector will sound but if youre really afraid, you could surrender it and put it in the small basket where you put your wallet and handphone. I don't think the airport people would confiscate it if you explain to them..

I think it's probably a better idea for you to check it in as luggage if possible. Save yourself the trouble. You don't want to take the risks of having to go through checks, questions, etc.
Hmmmm.....
Guess I'll just have to make do with carrying my deck without its armour. Sigh
