Indeed very bold.

He is very good in his verbal misdirection, not just this video, a few others that I seen, he carried his audience along his path and control them easily. WOW

From our views, his steals and change IS SO BOLD!! I wonder how many of us dare to do it right on the spot.

Nice!!

I always enjoy watching his shows! At first I thought he is going for some mental f**** again, which in my opinion takes more skills and courage.

Fantastic!! Derren Brown's mentalism is crazy and super mind reading. No forces, absolutely free choices. Unbelievable! :!!:

Eh, the way you put it.. "steals and change IS SO BOLD!!"
Kinda exposes this video doesn't it? I thought maybe it would be better if some words should be censored or making the statement abit more subtle? It is afterall a open forum where alot of people lurk around looking for secrets..
Just a comment.
Cheers.

Nice effect with such simpicity. We all can probably get away with alot more things with such a misdirection!

SWEET!

Cheers

A lesson learned from him is that, Presentation plus misdirection ends up in amazement....cool, stop saying that its bold, coz ur eyes are trained to see things like this..haha..try being a layman... thats what i did :P :P :P :!!:

I just copied derren and performed this to 2 people yesterday. Both were stunned. The second person was surprised after the first effect, but the second effect totally left her looking at me with big eyes in silence... then after a while, in deep thought... and finally ask me how it is possible. Haha. But of course I did this after first doing an effect using psychological subtities and gave an explanation that I do use a lot of psychological subtities. She is a psychologist, but apparently is only vaguely familiar with NLP techniques. So I did explain a few basic principle of how NLP can be used to influence communcation etc. Of course I talked about social psychology, etc and nothing to do with magic, but that gave her the idea indirectly that I was an expert in NLP and communication thought I told her that I was not one. I explained that using simple tools like these, I can send thoughts to her.

Right after that, I performed Entourage, and she was stunned by how easily I "sent" thoughts to her. And finally the last effect, the one that derren brown did, I could see that she was trying not to be influenced by me, so when I did the effect, she was totally buffled and stared in silence.

Now she is asking me to teach her more psychology so that she can use in clinical therapy, and she is the psychologist, not me. Had to control my laughter. Guess I messed up her brains.
