Don't know whether is it a bit late to tell you guys about this.
There's a magic show (forgot the title) on Channel 5 tonight at 8. A group of magicians performing street magic to people, a la THEM. One of the more recognizable magicians is Apollo Robbins.
Anyway, I can't watch due to work and if only somebody can record it...

Hmm, this sounds like an interesting show. :D Not for the street magic though, I think I am tired of that. I have a feeling it would be a great show. :!!:

Its going to be aired tomorrow (10th May, Thursday) at 8pm. I just saw the shorts on tv. It looks real interesting. Its called "the secret world of magic"...

Wow!!! the show is great man! There are a lot of effects being shown etc the nightshades, the four aces triumph routine which ends a royal flush kicker. Well, Apollo Robbins' coin routine and his watch stealing is great. His misdirection is so good that even my eyes also follows his hands.Two thumbs up!!! I also like some of the stage performances by Jeff mcbride and the other two magicians.
There was one trick where both of the guys playing the blackjack game. The effect is so strong that both normal cards (2 "nines") keep changing until it becomes black jacks. Anyone knows what is this effect called? :!!:

That blackjack routine was really visual. But sadly I think this is only a one episode thing. Next week is Keith Barry's Extraordinary

I only managed to catch it at around 8.24pm so I missed the earlier parts. Definitely very fun to watch. The show's came out in 2005 and consists of six 1 hour shows. I'm not sure why channel 5 is not showing the rest of it though.
On the channel 5 website, it says Pre-empted 17 May, Premiere 10 May. Anyone knows what that's supposed to mean?

Most likely the show's going for a repeat at some time slot on 17th May. Just keep a lookout for the that day's TV schedule.

I think they ur showing Keith Berry's Extraordinary next week. Too bad, you miss out on Mac King, who is one of my favourite magician.
