Title: Gimmicked Triumph

muscleaxl - May 14, 2007 01:26 PM (GMT)
Does anybody know what's the name of the deck that can be used to do the gimmicked version of triumph? How much?

Is there a lot of applications of it? Eg: Like stripper deck..

I guess you are talking about the cheek to cheek deck.

Well it has less application than the stripper deck. If you are really creative you can come up with something other than a triump routine. Quite hard to name other applications without exposing the gimmick. Anyone has any bright ideas?

The deck is more or less constructed and designed to perform the triump effect.

If I'm not wrong it's $18 to $20

You can do a triumph with a stripper deck as well.

Lol, oh ya you can do triump with a stripper deck too! Told you the stripper deck got more applications :P

But the cheek to cheek deck is more deceptive. The stripper deck would require you to do a bigger move to accomplish the trick. Both are very visual as you can spread the deck to show that the cards are really mixed face up and face down. In fact they are really mixed.

Hmm... Ok, think I would stick to my impromptu triumph. Cheek to Cheek doesn't sound that appealing, considering the price. Only thing is I like is the ability the really "mixed" the cards.

Take note that for that price...

You can MAKE 2 cheek-to-cheek decks.

(1 regular deck + 1 different type of deck)

Haha also can! But you are buying the idea as well. So the price is still reasonable.

Jimmy (tricky business) has an excellent triumph routine using a str****r deck. Worth taking a look at if you like the effect.

hey.

If im not wrong Jay Sankey does a triump using a stripper deck in one of his Secret Files. You might want to give it a try.

yeah the triump routine is in the jay sankey secret files vol.1. Personally i felt cheek to cheek help you to focus on your presentation where you don't have to do any sleight of hand at all! But i myself still prefer to do a normal triump routine with a normaly pack of cards

Mod's note. You have been suspended for 10 days for posting rubbish to increase post count. You will be barred from using the marketplace also.

My favourite (and hardest hitting) triumph is a 4-Ace triumph...

Not only does the deck restore itself, but the only faceup cards are the 4 aces.

Yet very few sleights appear to have been used.

Learned it in one of Gerry Griffin's DVDs.

Greg Gleason has a similar 4 Ace triumph routine too. The name is banned from vegas.

Paul Harris's unshuffling Rebecca is a great triumph routine and it is more visual than other triumph routines. You can see the cards change from face up to face down right before your eyes.
