Hello to everyone who is reading this. I wanted to ask around if there is any way to detect a fake Bicycle, Aladin, Aviator, Bee etc etc decks by The U.S Playing Card Company. How to know if my Bicycle or Bee deck is real? I mean printed from the real company instead of those fake ones that can be made in China which looks exactly? I have seen some of these decks sold in some other shops[not magic shops]. So I feel wired that those shops are selling Bicycle and Bees. Anybody have any idea? Thanks.

I have one fake deck of Bicycle that was bought when i was very new in magic. They may look quite similar to the real ones, but once you hold them and look closer at them, its just very apparent they cannot be real. Not just the card quiality are different, the print quality(even the box) is different. Besides, they do not have the US playing Card Co. seal on the deck (at least for mine). So it should be easy enough to see if its a fake or not.

The one I saw have the seal and everything like the real one. Then how?

If everything is like real, it could be real.

I think the only way you could know for sure is to buy it first and then check the quality of the cards to see if it's real or it's a knock-off. If it's fake, then don't buy from the shop ever again.

Just a piece of mind. Lols. It is because I seldom buy Bicycle cards as I need to go down to Magic Shops to buy. So I use normal decks for most of my routines. But now I saw the deck which is sort of "reachable" for me so I'm thinking of buying.

I agree with Jeff, if it looked real, it could be real. How do you know its a fake?
Best thing to do is to buy from reputable sources and not some stall along the pasar marlam.
Do you know even the China brand "Cycle" (which is a VERY poor imitation of Bikes) is selling for $5!? Anyway, besides the name is different, you would notice the "angel" has no wings and is overweight!!

My friend brough a "cycle" deck and show off to me thinking that that will amaze me.I end up laughing at the fat angel! If it look the same but dont feel the same it will not be the same even if it look like the same but not so same as it dont feel same.

The simplest way is to buy from trusted shops.
I have seen those fake bikes, and I almost thought they are some new packaging... and that person is selling them at 5 dollars, which is outrageous in my opinion.
