Lamadude - June 12, 2007 02:43 AM (GMT)
Hi People,

This is the email from the red cross. As what is written below, they require 2 magician and 5 balloon sculptors per shift. Pm me your email address if you are interested and I will forward your email to the org. I will not be able to do as I am working.

This will definately be an experience for beginners. There will not be any pay, but they will provide your meal and also some logisitic that you require. e.g. Cards. and some other equipment. as this is urgent, please email me asap and i will forward your email to the org.

Hi Adrian,

We are seeking for volunteer magicians to join us in this celebration on 14 June 2007. The magicians will be roaming around the shopping mall performing their magic tricks to the donors. Perhaps you can provide us with more information about the logistics which you required? Our event is a whole day programme from 10am to 10pm and we would like to have at least 2 magicians per shift (10am to 4pm and 4pm to 10pm).

We do require balloon sculptors for the event too. Would you be able to provide us with 5 balloon sculptors per shift? We will be providing the balloons for the balloon sculptors for the event.

Please feel free to contact me if you need any clarifications.

Thank you and looking forward to your reply!

Best regards,
Shirley Ng

So, It is a indoor Magician Strolling magic. Its very suitable for many new starters because the people you are involving are those donors, not street walkers that can be nasty. :)

But 14 June is 2 days later, quite rush.

Maybe you want to indicate which shopping mall they are in. Also, 10-4pm is a very long period.

It would be at VivoCity. You need not be doing for the whole 4 hours. take a break when you need. just be there for 4 hours and but need not be performing the whole four hours.

it is quite flexible. and they are very friendly people to work with.

sorry it is quite rush. I only got wind of it on sunday.

10 - 4pm is six hours, not four hours.
Anyways, I'm free, have emailed you, Adrian. :)

Anyone else?

Ade.

I'll be doing balloon sculpting tomorrow at Vivo, because one person doing magic is tooo lonesome. Nobody to join me..

Anyway, the person-in-charge, Shirley has got another event on 22nd and 23rd June by Red Cross again. This time round, they need balloonists. I'll post details about it once i get it.

Its holidays isn't it? If you're interested, keep those few days free.

Cheers.
Ade.

Too bad i can't see you today, Adrian. 22nd perhaps?

Anyway, I did a freakin 'I-can't-even count' number of wrist roses today!!
I was so going to faint from exhaustion.. :P

The people there are certainly nice to work with..
I even got someone's kid asking me to take a photo with them!! LOL.

If you're a balloonist, and wish to help out, keep your eyes peeled. There will be another event as stated before, at harbourfront soon.

Ade.
