Hey everyone!

It's growing... and growing... (no - think straight). SMC gatherings are getting BIG!

The last gathering was a resounding success - we had more new faces than ever turn up! Special thanks go out to the Sheng brothers who took the trouble to show up!

Since we had originally planned to have it as a regular gathering for forum people to meet up and have coffee - NO OBLIGATIONS TO PERFORM - we decided to change the name from NEWBIE GATHERING to OFFICIAL GATHERING. Otherwise, some people might think they won't turn up because they're not newbies. Haha.

Those of you who were there the last time you know what a great place it is - the only requirement is that you purchase a drink from them (we're using the place after all). The management is really NICE and very much PRO magic.

Keep in mind the following points:

1) YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PERFORM - There is no need for anyone to perform; the purpose of such gatherings is just to chill out and meet everyone. If you like, you can do a couple of effects here and there! We don't want you to be deterred from coming by just because you feel you will be obligated to perform.

2) You don't need to be a PRO or a NOOB. It is open to ANYONE FROM THE FORUM. We're all equal (some being more equal than others - like the ones who baffle a lot of magicians... *COUGH* AXL *COUGH*). Don't worry if you're pro or not - just come and have a good time!

3) It's FREE - you only pay for what you order.

4) If you would like to join SMC but can't sign up because you don't have a paid account, come by and be verified in person!

5) You can bring friends who are into magic and would like to join the forum, but please do not bring your lay friends - it's not a free show for laymen.

Please do add your name to the list if you intend to come... it's really much easier for our logistics! :)

And it's also much more polite. It's rude to gate-crash a party.

The Malaysian brothers couldn't make it this time round..all of us will be in KL this weekend..sigh! :(
