I am very proud to introduce the new logo for the SingaporeMagicCircle.com portal sites! B)

The logo is a modern crest of a phoenix and a symbolic top hat.
The crest-look enforces the rich traditions of magic as a craft and art, and the top hat, as a magician's device, represents the craft of conjuring performance that we are all so passionate about. Also, the dual circles of the top hat represents us (Singapore Magic CIRCLE) and the unity of the Singapore magic community.
The phoenix that arises out of the top hat (circles) represent the undying and passion for magic and the constant re-birth, re-invention and new breakthroughs of Singapore's magic community.
There is also a subtle representation of the letters "SMC" (in that order) in the phoenix. See if you can find it.;)

A lot of effort has gone into the design of the logo including inputs from a couple of professional designers. I'd like to thank all the people who have contributed to the design and production of the new logo.

I like the new logo very much! If nothing else, at least we don't look with a Motorola subsidiary now.:P

Now look out for new merchandises that will be coming this way with the new logo!

Hey aloy, Congrats on the new logo. I think it's amazing. I only heard on our last meeting that you wanted to change the logo, din't think that it would be replaced so quickly.

Anyway i still cant see where SMC is depicted on the pheonix. Where can we find a enlarged version of the logo??

I also know Shade had a big part to play in this new logo so well done shade! Kudos to you!

However, i think the font of the 'Singapore Magic Circle' should be changed to compliment that logo.

Have been busy and not been visiting forum lately and not contributing very much. Sorry. Hm.. The new logo is very nice. There is also a Ring 115 banner. If there is a next print for the shirt i will definetly get it. Missed the last one. Anyways nice logo Aloy.^^

Beside making T-shirt, can this time print it on cap, will be nice too.

some event SMC attend might need us to wear colour of yellow or red or back, so as we just wear a cap will able to match all event(outdoor such as street perform) dress code.

Ah, unfortunately, i doubt we'll be printing it on a cap for now. Perhaps in future when we have fan clubs. Heh. The reason being, we definitely have to wear shirts. But many of us don't really like wearing caps or consider it a extra apparel that we don't need.

Yup.. I also think so too. Caps are not very practical in that sense. Because imagine you are performing indoors eg. Shopping center. Then you are wearing a cap. It is like redundant and so -.-"

Very nice logo! but just wondering why is it not lion head?

This is an old thread and we have been using this logo for sometime already. I see that you are posting quite a bit on old threads. I hope you are not trying to hit the 80 post count mark to sell your stuffs.

I am just having my say and opinions on things that interest me and hoping it would help other people as well as bringing more activity to this site. And hoping to make new friends here.

Please don't make speculations. It will make people feel unwelcome here. PM'ing might be a better options.
