Hey guys,
Check out Magic Babe Ning's performances as part of the largest illusion show ever staged for a private event in Singapore.

Woa.. Ning, you look fantastic in the Dance of Sias. It been only three months since i left office and you learn so much thing already. The shadow encounter also make me want to see it "live". :g:

The 'Shadow Encounter' Illusion is beautiful.. I 'forced' my mum and dad to watch the clips and they were like *stunned*. :g:
When Ning jie appeared, my dad was like: Woah!
And when JC disappeared, they were like: Where did JC go??!!!
No doubt the watching the Live performance would have been 100x more FANTASTIC!!

Okie, Ning asked me to comments on the video.
But because I don't have youtube account, I think I comments here will also be the same. (Hoping the mods won't find it offensive)
Nevermind about the illusions, all of them are well plotted and planned, I really impressed with all the timing and stuffs, thats really the work of the professionals.
So what else? I will say acting. Because of JC experience and also his dancers on stage, they are more or less, very exposed to the emotion needed and the expression, whereas, thats what Ning is lack of. No, I not saying I good enough to say she is bad, but she always gave me the feeling that she is acting too much, and not natural acting. (Maybe because she's magic babe thats why i keep looking at her) So in short, stiffs in most the motions and facials. Relax gal, take acting like its part of your life.
Hope it won't offend you, Ning, sorry if I sound brunt.

I think when performing on stage, it is necessary for you to "act more", in order to capture the attention of the audience. She sure captured my attention! Great job!!

Thanks guys for your comments!
Larry, thanks for your feedback and it is duly noted. Personally, I think Magic Babe did an excellent job on stage and the expressions were spot on for her stage character. Trust me, the audience loved her :-) One thing to note is that the person on stage is Magic Babe and not the Ning you know personally. Thus, if you try to see Magic Babe as Ning then it would seem as Ning is 'acting' but the person on stage is Magic Babe and not Ning.
Does that make sense? :-)

Blunt, Larry, not brunt! :P
Just what i feel - Ning jie offstage is the very beautiful, nice, sincere (*insert whatever compliments that you want to put in*) Ning jie i know. Ning jie onstage is totally THE MagicBabe Ning - cool and aloof (plus hot that's why you keep looking at her isn't it..)
Personally, I like the contrast, and i think it fits Ning jie, both onstage AND offstage. Sort of Jekyll and Hyde (???!!!).
Maybe its just me but I just totally CANNOT stand the girly girly (plus giggly) kind of stage character that some female performers have. Gives me the BRRR... feeling.
Ade.

Yes, I have to agree with that.
Because I don't know JC personally much, it seems natural to me to see him on stage, because I know him because of his stage acts.
As for Ning, I know her outside of her life and stage life. Which I guess that is what JC meant, the difference.
Yes yes, I guess I neglected that point.

Hi everybody ^_^
I've been really busy and still recovering from a nasty bout of stomach flu and fever, so haven't been as on top of replying emails and PMs as I'd like to be.
Many thanks for all the feedback, online & offline, everyone... it's really much appreciated! *grin* Yes... Magic Babe is very different from the Ning you'd be familiar with. She isn't exactly your little miss sunshine... not with all that black eyeliner, those tight black leather pants and an attitude to match ;)
The videos on Youtube show a glimpse of Magic Babe, and SUM guy on stage... LOL  The show was amazing - 45 min of non-stop fast paced illusions for 2,000+ businessmen who flew down from Japan to watch us at Halls 601 & 602 of Suntec Convention Hall.
It's apparently the biggest illusion show ever for a corporate event, in the history Singapore! :) John Teo, Betsy & Enrico of IBM came to watch. Uncle Bob was invited but couldn't make it cos of his busy schedule, but I'm glad my parents came to watch me LIVE for the first time... LOL. They were amazed with the instant sports car vanish, 12 girl appearance, the finale illusion (Death Bed of Spikes!) and my Sais *grin*
Just wanted to share some of photos taken during the performance...
"Magic Babe" Ning cuts J C Sum in halfI really love my job... besides the perks of traveling overseas for work, how many people can say their boss is actually more than happy to let them cut him in half? LOL.
"Magic Babe" Ning appears with Yamaha sports bikeThere were mega blasts of pyro showers, this picture has it already settling so that explains the glowing embers in the shot. If you haven't seen our 'underground' version of Full Throttle, check it out on Youtube!
"Magic Babe" Ning does the 3" Hole IllusionMagic Babe gets into securely locked ATA flight case in 3 seconds, through the tiny little hole in the front of the box. See the speed to believe ;)
"Magic Babe" Ning's Original Dance of the SaisLove the lighting for this one... this original "dance of death" has Magic Babe flourish, twirl and play with these authentic Japanese daggers to the exotic beats of drums and bells.
"Magic Babe" Ning's finale for Sai DanceRight after this, we begin our grand finale illusion... the Death Bed of Spikes.
"Magic Babe" Ning & J C Sum: Death Bed of Spikes IllusionYou can see the Death Bed of Spikes illusion here... J C's strong stage closer for years and the media and audience just loves it. I think it drips of total macho testosterone. LOL!
"Magic Babe" Ning at finale of Death Bed of SpikesThe dramatic kicker... watch the full video online if you haven't already :) The audience went crazy & we got a standing ovation for this one. Really amazing stuff.
2,000+ Japanese flew in to watch us do magic on a 64 ft stage @ Suntec Halls 601 & 602I love performing for big crowds... just a partial birdseye view of the audience. There was LIVE video feed of course, and stage itself is already huge... way over 60 feet long *grin*
Thanks for your time! ^_^
xoxoxo

The show is very nicely choreograph, like the show very much.
Will there be an event for public? The clips
provides a limited experience and I would sure likes to attend a real life event magic show that big.
Cheers.
