Next Offical Outing on 7th January 2005 (Friday)

Time: 6:30pm
Venue: YouthPark CoffeeHouse (Near Somerset MRT Station (Beside PUB Building)).
Purpose: Members Interaction

Last of all I need the approval of Morphine, so kindly post your agreement of this outing here. ^_^

If this outing is approved, hope MOST of you can make yourself available on that day, cause i hope to see most of you people there. Maybe 50 or more :P

Should be no problem for me... But can shift the time earlier, since next year onwards, schools will be having 5-day week already, so we don't have CCAs on Sat... It would be great if it's around 3 or 4pm... Then we can play and interact longer... Just a suggestion here. Thanks! ;)

We don't have anything before that, but we have to spare a thought for some of our NS guy here. They book out around 12 ~ 3 and i hope they will try to come :P

We have been talking abt a competition for the longest time, but who will judge?

How about Dick Lee, Florence Lian, Douglas O, Ken Lim? :D

Maybe we can vote who'll be the judge. We'll probably need at least 3 judges. At the same time, you might want to get a lay man to be a judge as well.

I think we can take this "Magician Idol" Thingy to the Misc Discussion Or General magic section. Don't wanna make this topic go off course. :P

Well, unless you can specify a location for us which we can have our dinner and yet at the same time for us to perform and discuss magic at a place with all our card workers. Which alot of FoodCourt and Cafe doesn't really like people holding a deck in their hand which their mentality tells them that cards are actually ONLY meant for "Gambling purposes" due to police routine check.

Including Fire Magicians and some of our members who need to take a smoke.

Currently Youthpark is the only place which provide us all of this unless you have another place which can provide us with the above terms.

Whatsmore Youthpark location is very cooling, not like those stuffy coffeeshop.

For the judge thingy, please take it to General Magic or Misc Discussion. (This is the last time i would repeat myself) - Thank you.

Then most probably students can't come. Because next year, all CCAs have to be shifted to weekdays (5-day week policy now...). And most probably, uniformed groups (which I'm in) will mostly be on Friday afternoons. So it will be very tough for secondary and JC students, unless they are willing to stay sticky and sweaty in their filthy school uniforms with heavy bags and textbooks with uniforms and boots and stay late outside. And it will be a mad rush for those who have CCAs on Friday, as CCAs usually ends at 5 to 6pm ranging on each individual sessions. And most secondary schools ends around 2pm and JCs at 4 or 5pm...


My opinion, Saturdays are the most ideal option.

CCA doesn't start till after the 1st week of school rite? I am hoping all of you can make it for this one including those working and/or with family commitments that's why i'm suggesting friday.

I've thought about it but as I've said before, there will never be a perfect date.
So I plan to alternate the official outings between Sat and Fri, and since the last one was on a Sat, this coming one will be on a friday.

Any feedbacks on that please go ahead and let me know....
