Has anyone purchased the DVDs by david Stone that are marketed by ellu*******?

Is it worth it? Lots of sleights to master? The video clip does not reveil much?

I have vol 1 ,and have watched vol 2 as a friend of mine has it

I would recommend both vols ,although routine wise Vol 1 has stronger tricks in my opinion and has better production value

u are expected to know basic sleights as such( DL , Elmsley , classic P*** ). the teaching is silent and he does not go thru the basic sleights throughly .

Both DVDs are highly recommend by me and are totally worth the money. He is basically teaching and sharing with u almost everything he does in his career as a closeup table hopping magician. From dealing with crowds to what works and the tricks he teaches are awesome ,visual, not too hard to do except for 2- 3 routines.

And both DVDs are great to watch , it's almost like watching a proper film , not just a magic training video and as i mentioned above the production value is top class, better than ellusionist stuff.

the gags are great ,esp on vol 1 and u'll have an awesome time laughing ur ass off at david's antics.

Review score:

Vol.1 - 10/10
Vol.2 - 9/10

:off: Those who have this dvd.

Any idea where to purchase the props?

Mainly for the goldfish and coin to box effect.

Thumbs up as usual for Vol 2. I like the part when David Stone "destroy" that heckler.

This is a must get, must buy. But get from the man himself, who knows he will give u an autograph copy. (if u ask nicely) ;)

Both vol 1 and 2 are great dvds. There are good advices on performing to people, when to approach, when not to, how to deal with people etc. and some nice tricks to perform. Will require some skills and practise to get it perfect, and some requires gimmicks.

The only thing i didn't like was the explanation performance of the trick which has no vocal explanation, although everything is self explanable and clearly shown. Yes his english is not so good but if there's a narration it would be helpful to some who prefer it.

As for the gimmick, its available from lots of online magic dealears actually. Just do a google for 'ring box magic', 'coin box magic'. As for producint fish.. 'Goldfish production t****tip', or just 'goldfish production'... actually quite easy to make your own with a bit of creative thinking, save yourself US$20...

Highly recommended, I'm serious, tricks taught in David Stone's DVD are mostly professional, and a few of them really openned up my sight in magic.
