Thank you to all the contestants who took part in Legerdemain auditions. We saw a lot of great magic and the call for the top 10 spots was a tight and close one, where every 1/2 points matters! B)
So a big thank you to all the contestants who took part in the auditions! You all walked the talk and showed your stuff! Give yourself a pat on the back! Don't feel bad if you didn't get into the finals because it was a REALLY CLOSE fight e.g the 10th to 15th place is barely 2 points out of 100 points apart and we had to go down to 2 decimal places! :lol:

And a big Congratulations to our top 10 finalists! You all may continue to stress out about your act. ^_^

My heartiest congratulations to all the top 10 finalists and not to mention all the other participants. Legerdemain could not have happened without all your active participation and support. Indeed it was a very close fight between many of the contestants. Nonetheless, everyone of you all did a good job.

Regardless whether you're in the finals, everyone of you deserve to have a pat on your shoulders. It was'nt easy to stand up in front to perform but you guys managed to walk the walk and talk the talk. I'm sure the experience is something that will hone you further in this art...

Now lets hang on to our seats as we brace ourselves for 22 Sept 2007. As Shade mentoioned, its going to be blast and ticket sales will be annuounced soon. Hence, do help us speard the word around to publise the event to your friends and family.

I look forward to see everyone again on the finals again.

Finalists, another chapter has being in your magical journey. Come 22nd Sept, angels may fall, devils may rise but nothing will stop everyone of you from the being your finger-flickering, kunckle busting best. Hi to all. I just want to say congrats to all finalists. For those who did not make it this time, don't worry. Don't give up. There'll be plenty of other opportunities. Yarh, not everyone will succeed the first time, and I am pretty sure that it's your first ever competition for many of you. You should be proud of yourselves because it takes guts to sign up and be present to perform on that day.

As for me, perhaps I am lucky. As stated in the earlier posts, the scores were pretty tight. This is my fifth competition and I am learning along. I've had many failures and bad experiences from my previous competitions. Card fountain got spoilt. Cards dropped... Bottles slipped off my fingers. Packed the wrong props in my suitcase... But now, maybe the experience I've gathered over the years gave me the xtra bit of edge. But nevertheless, I know many of you are way more skillful than I am. Continue to work on your strengths, find out your weakness. I know some of you got abit unlucky that day also. Lost jacket. Lost wallet. Forgot marker. Forgot magic wand. No music. Yeah. Sometimes, when things want to go wrong, it will happen. Main thing is that we learn from all this.

LOL! I had great fun! Haha think i can consider myself having "leveled" up hehe :P It would help a lot if i could gain knowledge of how i faired... like why i din make the cut, wonder if that information can be disclosed to the participants.

I would also like to thank ALL the contestants that actually made the effort and time to come down for the Auditions. All this cannot happen without you and your suffort and love for the ART. In my humble opinion, this already makes all of you Magicians in your very own right! THANK YOU! It was indeed one very MAGICAL afternoon. We really hoped that one and all did enjoy yourself and we do hope to see you during the GRAND FINALS!
