To me it seems that he gained 30 pounds O_O
Btw I don't think the effect looks impressive. Maybe because I'm not a big fan of these gaff cards.
Hope those cards would not look ultra gaff or ultra gimmick to the audiences.

yea gaff cards are a touch and go with singapore audience
i've used them to great effect and reactions with overseas crowd though.

Frankly, I don't see the point of the use of the obviously specially printed card here. Just a cheap gag in my opinion.

And I thought I was the only one who didn't see a point to the whole "I'm fusing your cards together" type plot.
On another note, his obvious girth gives natural misdirection.

Well...if guess you were going to patter it like 'LOOK LOOK THE CARDS ARE STUCK TOGETHER' then yeah everyones going to know. But if you push the patter and really try and sell the effect it'll be stronger then any card trick. I guess that goes for any trick, but especially for gaffs because its so strong its unbeliveable.

But I think this one is a bit too obvious that the cards are specially printed. Singaporeans are too smart to fall for that.
I still prefer Doc Eason's good old Anniversary Waltz.
