There are alot of videos which teach coin magic. Like Machael Ammar and David Roth Basic coin magic. For the copper silver routine, On the Spot also teaches that. I suggest you buy the book, BoBo coin magic. It teaches routines and basic coin sleight of hand inside.

Hi Ian,
The following are my suggestions:
basic coin sleights
1 coin routines
easy to do copper silver effects
I would suggest Bobo Modren Coin Magic but I guess most magicians would know that. Inside there are all the basic sleights that one can find and there are several 1 coin routines and Copper Silver effects.
If you're looking for DVD, I suggest you get David Roth's Expert Coin Magic Made Easy. Its a 3 Dvd Set and it has a lot of material inside in which you can use. Most basic and intermidiate to advanced sleights are taught. Plus there are many good routines. I especially like his Wild Coin routine which is a Copper Silver effect.
Another Dvd you might want to check is David Stone's Basic Coin Magic which I heard is quite good as well.
3 fly effects
I suppose you mean different versions of 3 Fly. Because 3 Fly itself is the effect so there isn't different 3 Fly effects just different handling. There are indeed many many 3 Fly handlings. Soome uses Gaffs, some uses extras and there are even some I heard with purely 3 coins. To start off, I would suggest either you learn from Chris Kenner or Daryl Martinez. Both their versions are not too difficult and from there it can give you a good start to 3 Fly before you explore other versions. Chris Kenner's version is from his book "Totally Out of Control" while Daryl's version is on DVD.
Hope this helps...
Cheers

I personally would not get Bobo coin magic until u have firm understanding of the basic coin sleights because it might be too overwhelming for the beginner with the words and lack of clear description of the various moves that i feel is better explained on DVDs
Get a good introduction DVD that teachs all the standard sleights (ie. classic, finger **** , shuttle pass , couple of grips )and a couple of routines to use. This will keep u busy for 3- 6 months !! and another 3 months to perfect and polish up ur routine, add nuances , get ur subtleties pat down and add / remove any moves u don't feel u can pull off well or dones't suit ur routine
Good basic coin DVDs ( just get one or MAX 2 of the following, don't get all !)
Jay Noblezada - In the beginning there were coins
Michael Ammar - Introduction to Coin magic
David Roth - Expert coin magic made easy
David Stone - Coin Magic 1 and 2
David stone - Real secrets of magic VOL 1 <-- killer one coin routine and coins across in spectator's hand and coin to glass. Alot of good coin routines in this dvd but requires u to have a good basic understand of the basic sleights
All the best

Michael Rubinstein has a 3 dvd "Encyclopedia of Coin Sleights". This is a video on coin sleights. The other dvd, "Knockout Coin Magic" is very good too. It contains different routines.
Daryl's 3 Fly III is a pretty good effect. Its in both booklet and dvd.
Bobo's book is a must if you're into coin magic. You may not learn the stuff inside but you may have to refer to it from time to time.
Most of the other good stuffs has already been pointed out in the previous posts.

I have the DVD by Penguin Magic, "In The Beginning There Were Coins" and I have to say it's superb! They will teach you from the very very basic sleights to the more advance and then some routines at the end. The routines taught are good. Recommended!

Modern Coin Magic is, to me, the best source to learn basic slieghts. There is a video version of it, way more expensive then the book but i guess if you really don't want to read then you could look into it. David Roth has a begginers video called 'David Roth Coin Magic'. I'm still reading Modern Coin Magic so I'd still say that it's the best begginers source. Books are full of slieghts and little gems. Plus they are cheap. I'm pretty cheap myself, so we mesh well together =P!
