I've been playing video games for a long time. I've played Pong, Super Nintendo, Sega 16 bit. Gameboy, PS1, Sega Dreamcast. Now I'm looking into buying a PS2. What's the market price for this now?

My friend went to check and found that it's around $360 ~ $450 for a modified version.

there are cheaper versions out there
i've seen 300plus for a modified version

try going to cash converters...they may haf it there...i bought my modified PS 1 from there at a hundred bucks..it works well 2

I've played GTA in PS1, had motion sickness after that. I always have this problem when I play first person's view games.

i tot GTA one is top down view? lol, nah, san andreas vice city GTA 3 are all 3rd persons, except change the view when ure driving the friggin car.

Should have made myself clear. GTA is top view, which makes me dizzy too. Can't play games like Doom, makes me sick.

Ok... it's modified but is it new or the shop's second hand range starts from that price? Buying an extra controller is no biggie... lots of P versions out there as well :P

Mmmm the current trend seems to b Xbox tot. Lotsa of ppl are buying xbox instead of ps2 because of better online support frm xbox and aggressive marketing from Microsoft. If u have a cable connection, it is worth getting a xbox to play its online games. In fact starhub used to have a promotion if u sign up for two year cable plan with them they give u a free limited editon crystal Xbox.

Yea! I got my PS2. My set came with Logitech GT steering wheel with force feedback. Anyone interested in the steering wheel? Mint condition with box. I can sell mine 40% off retail.
Also Action Replay 2, don't know how to use it, might as well sell it.
