Beside the competition, what else?? do we had someone perfm for the event, such as a show by JC Sum etc??

After a lot of discussion, we decided NOT to invite any guest performers.

The performers have put in a lot of work in their acts - in fact, we have taken great pains to conceal what each one of them are doing because every act has been highly polished and they all carry themselves extremely well. What you saw in the teaser video is NOTHING AT ALL. ALL of them are packing acts that will FRY you.

Though it's nice to have a guest performer, we had to grapple with 2 main problems -

1) If the performer were REALLY REALLY good, it'll take away the heat from the competitors - they are the real stars that night. Since this magic COMPETITION is ABOUT THEM - it should remain as such.

2) If the performer were NOT AS GOOD as ANY ONE of the competitors, it won't be so good either for obvious reasons. And believe me - the finalists are really good; it could happen.

Trust me; with the amount of magic you'll be seeing for 10 dollars that night, you'll walk away more than satisfied. We were more concerned that it's a magic overdose - especially for the lay audiences.
