Hey. So sorry if i haven't placed this in the correct place, but does anyone know of any book or dvd that teaches stage hypnosis? I've really been looking into that lately, but i've come across a lot of very dodgey things. Is there like a bible to hypnosis or is it more of a 'a little everywhere'? Thankyou in advance! I wasn't sure where to place this so i figured it would fit pretty well into mentalism. Anyway, thankyou in advance

Was looking for a small hypnosis sort of thing to put into my magic act. But can't seem to find a "realistic" one. There are a lot of misleading information online.

Hey.
You could use a hypnotic theme. For me, I do a version of blizzard and say that the audience was hypnotised into seeing cards then I show them the only selected card in the deck, then I use a colour change to make the card "blank out" and tell them that the cards were only in their mind.

Well I have been playing with certain hypnosis themes, but personally I don't think hypnosis themes have a place in the area of card magic. Certain effects do warrent their use, but most just don't. You have to make sure the patter and the trick complement each other. More importantly they have to make sence. Great idea though, using hypnotic themes. =D thanks for the suggestion mate.

Sure! No problem. Actually my friend is also interested in hypnosis so he told me about it and i saw this post in the forum. :off:
There is a video for you to download if i am not wrong for less than 10 dollars, that will teach you a bit of hypnosis like rapid induction and my friend say they forget to teach you how to wake the person up so try it at your own risk. Haha.
