Those who have been following this thread should know what happened.

Long story short. The Magic Cafe through I was Aaron Chee( the guy who cheated some magicians in magic cafe) and they banned my account.

I re registered with a new username. The first thing I do is to post a "clarifying post" in the "Right or Wrong" section of the forum.

The weird thing is that the whole topic got deleted . They mods did not give me any reason why they delete the topic. If I'm not wrong all other forums will provide reasons why they delete a thread. Not the Magic Cafe, they just delete the thread without providing a reason.

Now, my account was banned again. I don't understand what happened. They must have read the clarifying post.

I sent emails to Steve Brooks, but he did not reply the emails.

Ning, is it possible for you to help me clarify that I'm not Aaron? This is really bad for my reputation. :(

I'm not sure but perhaps this could have happened:

At the time when you posted the clarifying post, the Magic Cafe was probably still in the midst of restoration. When the forums were restored back into their original state of september, all posts that were made in the "chaotic" period were removed as well.

Try registering another nickname with a different email.

Yes, I have already done that.

I post the clarifying post 2 times. The 1st time was during the "chaotic" period. That post was deleted.

After everything went back to normal, I post the clarifying post for the 2nd time. But still the topic was deleted.

I have already re registered with a new email and new username. But they still banned the account. :(

Put yourself in the shoes of Steve Brooks, Ace. Since you're already a suspect of a conman, very naturally the admins will ban any new accounts created by you. (most prob they 'blacklisted' your IP address) Also if I'm the admin I will not tolerate any BS clarifications from you anymore.

What I suggest is you get someone reputable in the Cafe to vouch for you before you start creating another new account.

Bernard has been a long time regular in the Cafe and knows quite a lot of ppl there i think. He MIGHT be able to help.

But now don't you wished you had came to our gatherings so that we actually KNOW that you are not THAT Aaron? :P

Yes, I understand that. But they should make further investigation befor banning my account again. Why did they just ignore my clarifications? That's not the way to do things. It seems that they don't even bother to investigate further and just keep on banning my account.

Actually I was planning to go for the previous 2 gatherings, but the date clashed with my chalet date (yes twice! Can you believe that!?) lol

Just cleared up all the misunderstandings.

My Magic Cafe account was reactivated. ^_^
