Is this the real set of paul fox cups, uncle bob? If so why is he selling for so cheap?

This is not the original Paul Fox cups but the design is. Its being made by Rings and Things II. When they make something, they usally make them in limited quantities.

Ohhh but it has the PF logo on the bag. Looks damn nice! So this set is made by ring n things II? It is out of production as well is it?

Sorry to see your post late. Maybe Benard is right that is made by R&T.

The bag has the logo of Paul Fox but that cannot acertained of its originality.

I have a set of Copper Paul Fox Cups and at the bottom inside of the cup has a stamp of Paul Fox Hallmark.

If you browse the web on cups, there are many look alike and clone of Paul Fox Style Cups. Benard told me that he is very happy with the Penquin Cups.

If it is the original PF, it is way way below the price.

Saw it advertised the Ross Bertram Cups, supposedly owned by Ross and it selling for USD5,000.00.

Penguin cups don't come with the final loads. Check ebay once in a while.

A while back, Penguin was giving away this set if they purchase something like $150 from them. Many have already sold the free set. You can probably get a set for as low as US$50.

Incidentally, you can use anything for your final loads in your cups & balls routine. I think fruits will be more humorous.

I am making some monkey fist balls in leather for my Cups & Balls. Going to try and make the size of Mike Roger's final load, monkey fist style.

But what is the biggest final load for penguin cups? Tennis ball? Or smaller Base balls?

The thing about fruits, you gotta go buy them everytime you go for a show? so cannot permanently carry it around? Wouldn't that be problem?

It seems that monkey fist balls are a popular choice. Is it easier to handle then normal crochet or leather balls?

So uncle bob, after receiving your paul fox, other then it being so rare nowadays, do you think it is worth its hefty price tag? It is more expensive then the sherwood cups right? but the sherwood cups look more exquisite leh.

Hi Bernard, will show you the monkey fist ball when I have done with it. Actually it is not difficult to make, a little bit of patience is all you need.

Sherwood cups according to the Greats to be the most beautiful cups in the world.

Original Paul Fox cups can cost more than Sherwood. It is basically supply and demand. Owning magic collectibles are very much cheaper than owning arts and antiques by famous persons.
