I currently have 12 opened decks. I just switch between decks. I practice with one deck until it's just TOTALLY worn out (which usually takes about a week), then switch to another opened one and let the previous one recover. So technically, I don't change from old to new decks. And even if I did, I have about 100 bikes, which'll probably last me forever, so that wouldn't really be a problem for me.

CLJ wow... u got so many bikeS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so many man? u ordered them for the net? wow.... i got like 20 and i tot i have heaps!!! hehe.. lol.
i have only opened 4 decks of bikes 1 tally and 1 BTD and 1 caravan. lol... i switch here and there... i also have cheaper cards to practice with. most of my cards get sticky after awhile... so i condition them under super cold aircond room.... then they are fannable again. but ill be getting my fanning powder soon.. so thats ok i guess.
oh by the way... i still practice with my first deck of bikes.. lol... abt 1.5 years old...hehe lol.... they are super dupa soft and super dupa expanded to the miax.. but real cool for springs lol...
that's how much i treasure my bikes.. i dont throw them away. i so sad i lost one card from my old red bikes... argh...!
hehe:)

Everytime I go to the US, I go to one of the Costco warehouses and just buy a TON of bikes, because they sell by the dozen there for like what, 13US? That's just over 1 US a deck, which is probably the cheapest I can find anywhere.

I go there every year.
I don't have any special brands. If you want special brands, you should go over to Kevin's house. I just know that I have a TON. It ensures that I never have to stock up on cards ever again.

Because I like the US, and I like going there on holiday. It also helps that my family owns a place in Colorado. ;)
Various states.
When I go to Conneticut they have a few Costco warehouses around the place so that's where I usually get my bikes. Bikes can be found practically everywhere in the US though so it's pretty easy to stock up.

By the way, 13US for a dozen bikes is like about 2 bucks per deck. You can't get 'em any cheaper than that.

i have to agree with that... cant seem to do it as well on a new deck....
Nicholas - January 3, 2005 08:51 AM (GMT)
haha yeah ... too slippery and to hard.....
B)
[Ling] - January 3, 2005 01:30 PM (GMT)
Yeah! Even doing a simple thumb fan, the slipperiness can really sometimes launch the cards lurching out... Sometimes... But they feel good and cool to touch. :D
GordonLi - January 3, 2005 02:40 PM (GMT)
i think gd cards wud be those that are not too smooth and not too hard.
so just break the cards in with alot of shuffles and stuff.
Mystical2004 - January 4, 2005 09:50 AM (GMT)
springs!!! really breaks in the deck.
Nicholas - January 4, 2005 09:53 AM (GMT)
have u tried putting a deck without the box in the freezer not the fridge ?
i did that with my black Deck ... becomes soft for a while a REALLY 'Cool" to practice.... seriously... but later will harden again... i mean become normal not harden
B)
seriously...
i did
iewgnod - January 4, 2005 10:19 AM (GMT)
well
i put my decks under the air con after i've done handling with them(wif my sweaty palms that is)
and its now pretty soft
the freezer?
wow
Brendan - January 4, 2005 11:07 AM (GMT)
yeah.. air con is good for the cards!!! one moment they fan like crap.. but after proper conditioning,... the fan nicely.. :P....
fanning powder should be way better i guess... :P
Desmond - January 4, 2005 02:01 PM (GMT)
fanning powder does help to make the cards better to fan :P
