For me, I will say Joshua Jay's "Talk about Tricks" will get my choice of vote with no doubt at all. Why? Firstly, I must applaud josh's achievements at his young age. I see him truly as the next big thing in closeup magic. In this set of dvds, I am amazed with practically every single routine that I saw. Don't mention how many actually got me fooled quite badly.
In this set of DVD, it features some of the best tricks that appeared in Josh's column in the MAGIC magazine. So, it featured quite a number of magicians like Francis Menotti, Joel Givens, John Lovick, Paul Cummin and Rune Klan. The tricks that are featured in this DVD is unlike what you normally get in alot of the other DVDs that promise to cover the so-called practical and commercial stuffs. The tricks also are not those that promise to be highly visual but only turn out to be highly impractical in the end. The stuffs covered in this DVD are highly practical and unbelievably amazing. The presentation ideas are also wonderful.
I personally like this trick called "Laser Aces" by Joel Givens. It is really beautiful. It's not the standard pick a card trick. It's essentially a trick that started of like a simple cut to the Aces trick. But the finale is really the bomb! You have to get this dvd to find out.
Another trick I like Rune Klan's "The Hit Man". He uses just a pen and a coin, and it is really an entertaining piece. One more trick that I would like to mention is Francis Menotti's "Exidecally Shunuffled" which is his long guarded personal piece that has been his opener for his shows. I really fell in love with this one when I first watched it!
This DVD is highly recommended to all!

There is this Oil and Water performed by Joshua Jay that I really, really liked. Impromptu and uses only 8 cards.
Another was a move he called Muimph (Did I spell it correct?). This is what Triumph should look like.

Another DVD set that i have to say rocks is Real Secrets of Magic by David Stone!.. The series is awesome.. With nice performances and funny scenes! He teaches wonderfully and is easy to understand even with his slang! Joshua Jay's dvd is also good!
