Title: Through Msn?
trickster - October 19, 2007 09:39 AM (GMT)
Wondering if anyone knows of any mentalism is done through the net like msn?
I mean besides the common psychological forces. Perhaps not just mentalism.. Maybe other effects also..

I tried KENT by kenton through internet
Pretty cool reaction

hey.
I honestly haven't tried it through MSN but I've done stuff over the phone. I've done the "locked room mystery" by Jay Sankey from his 22 Blows to the head and it works fine.

I knew a mentalism that can be done over MSN but after you have done it, he can track back easily. It is widely spread over the net years before so people might know of it already. Anyone heard of Denmark and Elephant trick?
It kind of like a math question at first, then you ask them to think of a letter, form a country with that letters and so on. :)

I like this trick, it never fails, but with exception
I do Denmark the Knagaroo trick, sometimes people says king kong!
trickster - November 4, 2007 12:32 PM (GMT)
Oh yea! Haha.. i have yet to do that over msn.
By the way, not many people know of this trick. I mean very very few people know of this, at least that's for me.
Right now i'm thinking of a way to get rid of the maths part.
I was reading the review on magic gourmet. Elephant in denmark? Is that like similar to this kangeroo in denmark?

I think so they are of the same trick. It probably uses the last letter. That is why you can get Kangeroo. I'm just uses my logic to conclude :P

using elephant is safer haha. sometimes u get koala too if u use "k"

Yea, I got koala instead of kangaroo before. But if you choose "E", you may get eagle instead of elephant.
Basically what I prefer to do is to ask them to imagine the animal in their mind very strongly, so I can read their minds. Then I pretend to say that their mind is very difficult to read, too far away, etc. So in order to help me, ask them to add color, and movement. Make the animal do something that it usually does, like rabbits usually hop around. Then I start to guess. If one of the attributes is wrong, I will try to backtrack and try again. Overall, if your presentation and delivery is good, they will think that you are not bad because you got 2 out of say, 3, attributes correct. For example, even if you didn't get the name correct, you could have gotten the color right! And always say you are a newbie to cover your own posterior. If not, they will try to by funny by asking you to read their thoughts immediately without giving any clues.

I never thought this would come up but I've done a lot of effects on msn .
Equivoque works best for me . Send an sms , make them promise they won't open it , and that'll be your prediction .=)

You can try Panagram by Underground Collective, see:
http://www.underground-collective.com/effe...hp?product_id=5It makes things much easier than having to do it manually on paper. Panagram really is a great tool.

Imagine having a spectator just think of a word... imagine being able to be able to pluck the letters of that word out of thin air and slowly rebuild that thought in front of the spectator as though you had drawn it directly out of their mind!

Bob Kohler's Prime Cut can be done via phone but not on msn (typing only), but maybe you can try it when you are doing voice/video chat over msn. You can have them count the cards on to the table, while the webcam is just showing their face, and they'll be surprised how you find their card! You can tell them that their eye or body language sub-consciously gave it away.
There's actually a few more tricks that can be done vie msn/phone, but i just can't recall all of them at once.

I have created a David Copperfield card trick on my own through display picture on MSN and it works :D
Almost 90% of people in my MSN list get hit strongly.
Maybe most of your have seen it on television but not messenger

Not to worry at all. Because eagle is not an animal, its a bird. I used to do this very very long ago. Now I don't. Anyway, if they say eagle, then you can just crack a light joke on them like saying 'You don't seem to be able to differentiate between a bird and an animal. Feel sad for you.' and laugh so they know is a joke.

I remember learning this trick from " Magic For Dummies".
Someone thought of eagle the first time i performed this trick ... was so depressed that i never try it again.
