Quoted from www.magic.org:
After a decade in development, Gordon Bean is ready for the general release of Entourage! Many notable performers served as test audiences at the Magic Castle and ALL have reacted with the sort of enthusiasm reserved for only the very strongest walk-around items...
Criss Angel calls Entourage "@#%$& awesome!"
David Regal says "Bravo!"
And after witnessing it first hand, Cyril said "This Kills!"
I've got this trick about a year already. It was very much after a long persuasion by an australian magician friend of mine. Like many other people, I never liked packet tricks. When Graham told me how good it was, I wasn't convinced. But after much persuasion, I finally got one for myself and gave it a try. Surprisingly, this trick has been part of my closeup shows eversince. It is really that good. The effect is direct, easy to understand and the climax is truly mind boggling. This is the only gimmick thing I never forget to bring apart from the invisible deck.
The bad side of this packet trick though, it is not examinable. However, the structure of the trick is such that there's really no heat on the gimmick. I've performed this numerous time and I've never been caught once.
Cheers!
Nice idea, but i don't like this trick so much.
Quite a lot of heat on the gimmick depending who you perform it to... some crazy friends will sure grab the cards from your hand.. but if you perform it to people you don't know, say at a show.. most likely they won't touch what's not theirs..
There's a move you need to practise or use good misdirection to avoid people seeing... otherwise they will sure notice something funny about the cards.
I actually like this effect. It has left some people extremely buffled and stun. I keep it in my wallet all the time. Perfect for close up.
I have not had anyone grabbing the cards thought I have performed the effect many many times. They sometimes do ask to see the cards. But I will then perform some other psychological effect on them and they will usually associate the same mind reading effect to all the tricks. If I have a pack of cards with me, I will just carry on performing other effects.
It's a very nice effect, can be placed in the wallet and so easy to perform. I do not agree with the previous review that much practise and misdirection is need. Just a very simple one. I did this in 5 mins in front of the mirror. No sleights of anything like that.
I would agree with AliShuFi's review.
Excellent for close up, no heat on the gimmicks, never been caught, the only gimmick thing I never forget to bring apart from the invisible deck.
On top of that, it is easy to carry around, easy to perform and learn, get strong reactions, and has a nice story to go with it.
